Playing the v0.5 after the “completed” 1.0 makes you realize how much of a downgrade the final version is. It's just an incest galore, with the entire plot revolves around three people where the 50th scene includes the MC and the mom, or the mom and the other daughter... nothing more. The older build feels like a completely different game, where the zombies could be a sexual threat too, so it wasn't just a special zombie ‘wow this guy is so big and scary! ooooh!’ game where everything is just a glorified game-over screen. I didn't follow the development, but the ending feels rushed and half-baked, only done for the sake of it.

I have to give the credit to the dev that he completed the game rather than abandoning it or keeping it on hold forever and doing nothing with it. I know the dev of Kindread Redburns burnt out and abandoned it without any notice, so at least Hot Tomato had the decency to complete it. There are very few H-games with zombie and post-apocalyptic themes that have made it this far.

Zombies being a sexual threat is the dumbest shit ever.

I can’t stand the MC. Zero backbone and he can’t take the initiative. And don’t tell me he gets better later because it is already too late. He was dog walked throughout the whole relationship. Even a dog would grow a pair after that.

I think it would have been better if the sister was the MC, because I think she got the balls and he got the sissiness whrn they were born.

Yeah, this thread keeps being flooded by both extremely high praise (non-ironically) but also utterly incomprehensible toxicity on the other, like the dev personally went to hurt some people at their home. I'll never get it. The Internet is a wild place...

in my op the game was good and entertaining it was not the classic oh zombies here and there and all none zombie females are all over the mcs dick this game was somewhat "reallistic" its was not mc finds a girl takes her in fucks find a new one fucks rep. i hope we get a part 2 this would be hard AF for the chars since i dont think they will find a morning after pill that fast xD

We are living in the age where people have been exposed to social media from day one of their life and what does social media do to people over time? Makes them fake and lame. If I were a game dev, I would literally ignore people that don't like what I make. Its obviously not for them, they don't have to interact with it but they choose to waste their time in exchange for attention. I'm sure after being ignored long enough, they'll go elsewhere seeking attention.

I agree, but this thread seems to be an exception somehow. There's still some loud egomaniacs that have a hate boner for HotTomato, and ever after it has been 4 years and the story is completed, you still see them coming here to act like toxic kids that have nothing better to do.
