Ok, I'm about halfway through the game now, and it's getting increasingly hard to want to continue. Why does the MC have to be such a goddamn pussy!? And so fucking stupid to boot? What is with 90% of devs and making the most cringe MCs? Whether they are insanely stupid or pathetic pussies or just some combination of negative traits that makes them insanely insufferable and unlikable.
It's getting really annoying reading this pathetic twat's inner monologues. He keeps waxing poetic about burning the world down for his family and being the one to save them, but when it matters, he ALWAYS freezes up and just stands there like a deer in the headlights waiting for someone else to rescue him instead of the other way around.
I am really hoping he "man's up" at some point b/c he's not only pathetically weak physically, but pathetically weak mentally. He honestly seems to have no redeeming qualities. God forbid it's the end of the world and a beta soyboy like this is the literal last man on Earth. I swear if it wasn't for the mom and sister models, who are very attractive, I would have deleted this long ago.
Edit: LOL! And as if the game was just waiting for me to complain about it before showing any real growth for the MC; just as I post about this, the MC finally starts to act like a badass...ok well, a tiny bit of a badass. He still has a loooonnnggggg way to go, but there was finally something that can be considered real growth for his character, and a (positive) movement from the god awful stagnation in his character development that has been present for pretty much the entire game so far.
