Debatable. Boondock Saints pulled it off, although that character (bartender in the beginning) admittedly had a psych condition that involved him yelling swears (similar idea to Torret's Syndrome, although I think torret's is specifically yelling what they're focused on? Not an expert though). Haven't actually played it yet though, so can't comment on the writing in general. Edit: Writing could use some work, but isn't bad for a v0.1 from a dev who's primary language isn't English (or so I'm assuming). Looks like it's more issues with the language than issues with the writing. As for that specific line, it... kinda works, but Meor would probably be better off going with something people actually say, like 'fucking hell' or maybe 'damn it'/'dammit'.
Meorless
Saw the .txt you included about the warning in the beginning. Got a similar warning, but mentioning needing to update Direct X. What version of Direct X is needed? I know MS has free packs for certain legacy versions, so kinda figured I grab the one needed (assuming it doesn't need something weird like a specific version of 10 from halfway through it's cycle).
Keep in mind that I haven't actually played it yet, but from what I've seen from the OP here I've got a comment. First of all, make the game you want to make, mostly mentioning this in case what I'm mentioning is not a priority for you, but something you included to try to boost appeal. It looks like you've put a fair amount to effort/assets into sound. You may want to figure out how many people just plain turn off sound when playing porn games (from what I've seen it's likely over half for the games I play, but I'd also expect a lot of variance based on style, genre, and engine). Might not seem like it matters, the people who mute them can just play with it muted, but it's worth keeping in mind that many of those people will consider time/funds spent on sound to be a waste, and if you spend a lot of time on sound that may effect if they choose to support you or not (most of the people who actually support games are reasonable enough to not mind some focus on stuff they don't care about, although how much will vary person to person). If sound matters to you, absolutely keep focusing on it, game quality is almost always better if the dev is making what they want to make, and quality kinda matters the most. If you just view it as a potential draw that isn't something you're particularly passionate about though, certainly keep what you've got, but you may want to consider limiting how much focus you give it in the future. Just thoughts, consider or ignore as you feel appropriate for
your game.
EDIT: Tried it out, the translation is alright for a v0.1, but you're going to either need to get a native english speaker to polish the translations, or improve your english. Couple of the big issues with it:
Glancing at the menu's and the content options, the tooltip info about disabling fetishes and the censor needs to be re-translated before the game gets to a point where it matters (doesn't really matter yet due to the lack of content). I -think- the fetish option just flags content for the censor? As for the censor, Wasn't sure if selecting it enables or disables it, and if it works for everything but won't unblur flagged fetishes, or of it only blurs flagged fetishes but you can click to unblur them.
It may also be a good idea to redo the agreement thing at the beginning (screenshot 1). First, it isn't terms and conditions, it's a disclaimer. Very different things. The 'This game has no commercial purpose. All payments the author receives are from people's own free will' line contradicts itself (no commercial purpose followed by talking about payments). I
think you want something like 'This product is free, any revenue generated is from donations" ('revenue generated' is a slightly more discrete way of saying 'money made'). Keep in mind that offering rewards for supporter tiers will make the 'free' and 'donation' parts of that questionable. It's also very possible that I missed what you were going for there, but this was the only thing I could think of that made sense.
Were the two thugs intended to be a Pulp Fiction reference? Would
kinda explain the unusual swearing, but I didn't notice any specific references.
