MC gets shot in the head by Sarah's mom while hes banging her (sarah's mom) ironically and every other LI stands there watching while she monologues for awhile before shooting...like an absurdly long amount of time considering. Not a single one of the like 7 LIs standing there even attempt to stop her. Serena his subconscious basically sacrifices herself to lock off that part of his brain where the bullet is so he survives. He is in a coma for the birth of all his children and it ends on the clear sequel baiting. Honestly....yeah it left a bad taste in most people's mouths. Including mine. And its sad because it had potential but like so many others the ending got fumbled hard.

It does in fact protect him....and ruins the ending of the game by causing him to basically bypass the birth of all of his kids

If you are a big guy to stick to the bad ending of your first game you a re a big guy to serve in your country army maybe that lowers your ego a bit and humbles you a little but the majority of the people lost the trust in you whit that edgy ending so you had to work hard to earn it again .

dude, he could work on his games for his whole life, as long as people remember him, he will be treated like he betrayed us all.
What i mean with better words is: he better disappear for a while, act like he just quit everything(and if he wants to come back) change his internet-identity and begin from zero all over again pretending to not be himself. <- this is his only true solution if he wants to earn a decent amount of money, something about internet is: people rarely forgive and NEVER forget.
He made a mess, demanded money anyway while trying to figure out a way out from his nation's call for arms(which considering how awful is life in the military, i can't blame him) but i am here to do shame him for the attitude about the whole thing: the 3 games in development and the shit-ending which makes no bloody sense, he is not focused, he is desperate for people to bite his baits, so now people will have 2-3 under-developed games and nobody will be happy with that because the scenario will be: some people will want more Deathless, some other people will want more Depth's Revival and its solo-endings, and the other interested people will want more Depth's Revival 2 and the dev has to divide his time between 3 games, so basically giving a third of his time to each game, and it doesn't matter if he will focus on a game for a whole year and next year will focus on another, or if he will focus one month for each game, it still won't be enough, and people will complain regardless, because not matter what he develops at least 2 thirds of his followers/subscribers will want something different: Seacth will cater to a minority, but the minority is different everytime he releases an update for a different game, like i said, someone is following for Deathless, someone for depths' revival's solo endings and someone is subscribing for depths' revival 2. The dev is trying to get out of a lose-lose-lose situation and like i said, the only solution that MAY work, is ghosting us, chill for some LONG ASS time(which will sink his finances anyway), come back and pretend to be someone else and fix his attitude in the meantime, because that's NOT the way a developer gets successful. With just Depth's revival 1 was sinking already due to the harem ending being done first, yeah good idea for the subscribers, so they've to wait less to get exactly what they wanted, and now that the solo-endings are the last thing in the "to-do list", they checked out, and i told Seacth this a while ago (not sure if he remembers, but somewhere there are logs of me telling him this). Is this my "told you so moment"? Yes absolutely, no shame, no remorse, don't a care in the world.
