anyway to come back to the whole topic, i know some renders are grainy and as i said im working on it and 0.2 will be way better. Another thing is, this is a adult game idk why some people expect that i do a hollywood storyline in 20 minutes that includes sexy content that actually makes sense at the end this is the first version of the game you don't even know where the story will lead to yet so instead of complaining and making your own adult game you could maybe just wait and see where it goes.

Those games are about 2 years old. Do you see devs releasing rpgm games still? Didn't think so.

Compare your release to the new ones that have come out recently. They're all pretty good off the gate and still have a hard time gaining patrons. Acting lessons, reincarnotica, No more secrets (released today), and more.

Doesn't need to be plot heavy. But you've got to show us something so we can root for you.

You've shown none of the above. You can survive being mediocre at each of those listed above, but you won't get to the minimum 2K USD you're aiming for.
At the very least, you could have done some inviting promo images using one of the free graphics apps available online. PM me if you want some tips on apps you can use.

Played it and have mixed feelings. The somewhat grainy images didn't bother that much because they were clear enough to make them out but of course would like better ones. This is a good demo of some of the things you want to do in the game. As the game progresses I think the beginning should be rewritten so that you don't get into the sexual parts so quickly, make us work for it. I think of it as being like some movies I've seen that through in a nude scene right at the beginning but there's nothing afterward in terms of enjoyable content. Don't let this game be one of those movies. When you save a game there should also be a load option w/o having to go to the main screen, probably should also have a gallery option. Nice start with potential to be different. I think some of the comments were overly harsh for a first effort and brand new game. Unfortunately, in your zeal to show your vision, you may have locked yourself into unrealistic expectations from players, as some of the comments might imply. You have set a pretty high bar in terms of sexual content for future updates. As with movies a good story always trumps a lot of gratuitous images. Too many games suffer from "imageitis" with no story. Too early to tell if you will one of those. Keep up the great start and work on the images and I think you will be fine. Damn I love to hear myself talk. lol

I have many things planned to keep the story going and i want you to face the consequences of everything you do. A good example is lab rats 1 where you could make all girls pregnant but it was too rushed for me at the end because of the whole drug thing, this is something you wont see here, the girls will be aware that you made all of them pregnant and this will have big consequences for you as a player in the end.

Interesting so does that mean no harem end? Also wanted to say I like the unique mafia premise I'll definitely be watching this. Good luck and thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I personally dont think the sex scenes are too rushed since if you actually try to do something it leads to a gameover because the girls are not ready for it yet, the other scene was just the mc's imagination so i would not count that as actual sex scenes either. Although i also find some of the comments really harsh i still see them as feedback which we can improve on. At the moment im already working on 0.2 which will have less grainy images, more freedom to walk around in the town, more interaction with most of the characters and overall more focus on the actual gameplay.

Some devs still haven't switched to renpy and some even use unity which is also dislike.

The games you metioned might have better visuals but look pretty generic to me as well.

(1) Working on that. (2) I would love if you pm me and tell me what you didn't like about the writing because from most people i actually heard that they enjoyed the story so far. (3) There is only so much you can do with a VN but in the next version we will add more gameplay elements.

Its far too early to talk about the ending but what i have in my mind are options depending on what you do you might be happy with one girl? Or maybe you are happy with a few? Or maybe you fuck anything up with your choices. When the limitations i face at the moment are gone im planning to add alot of butterfly effect choices that will affect the playthrough.

Fair enough, maybe I was too harsh and it was a personal opinion. This wasn't a bad release by any means, it was just ok.

Others have voiced concerns about the renders as well. Those are actionable and specific. Look into some of those surface clippings too (screenshot with the arms crossed, her arms clip into her breasts).
Try not to use overused assets, like that bathroom. We're tired of seeing the same assets everywhere. On the verge of peak daz fatigue.

I'll try it again later and pay more attention to the plot, maybe I missed a detail or two. Good luck with the next release.

What i can say so far is that we were able to compromise the image quality with the time its gonna take to get each render done and it still looks way better than before. If anything goes well the next release will happen mid or end of the next month. We have fixed some issues which are the following
-Right clicking leads to Main Menu
-Updated GUI
-Implemented the Messaging System
-Affection System working. All characters from the Prologue are now visible.
-Fixed Stats Screen so it's displayed properly
-Minor grammar adjustments
Featured planned in the next version 0.2
-Image quality was improved and looks way better now
-Added more gameplay elements and a day by day cycle like in other games

So ya stay tuned for the next version, i took all the feedback serious and will improve on it.

- As the Doc said, a few things were rushed, and that's perfectly understandable as this is just 'setting the stage', the world-building phase. However, the Mafia-scene would greatly benefit from a few more lines of text. We are new - how does Fat Toni know we are not a bad guy? How do WE know, we are not a bad guy? (i mean, we just tried to rape our mom on day one! How bad is that!?).
Adding one or two lines about the MC's past would flesh both out. Two birds, one stone. Could even make it a choice to get a little stat bonus ala some RPG-VNs, if you actually want your players to level and stuff. "You were working as a Lifeguard in your last city (+1 Str)", "You worked in a soup kitchen (+1 Cha)", "You won a science fair (+1 Int)", "You pledged $15 on Patreon, now that's a good boy!" (+1 to everything, because fuck it) and so on.

And one follow up question: Without spoiling too much, how linear or broad do you plan your game to be? For example Rick - do you plan on actually implementing more than one way to deal with him? Or how optional are the kinks? Could one for example skip and ignore Alexis completely? Could one go for Sis1 but not Sis2? (not that i would, just curious ^^).

Technically if you try to rape her its gameover so i dont allow you to be a bad guy:test: you play asshole in most other games already so i try to make the mc a bit more nice and understanding.

Stat system is planned and will be present in te next version and honestly i would love to put all the stuff you guys mention into the game but this will take time i had to cut some things short because i wanted to get the game out and see what people think before i continue, now with all these feedback i can work with something and improve the game.

Also i commited a deadly sin which will prolly piss man people off but i will announce that soon once its actually done. Lets just say i don't like the look of a char so i will change her.

I hope it's neither Mom nor Alexis. I was into the mom from the first second. Georgous woman and still believable to be a mom (if the had her children early, which is not unusual in todays time). Alexis is not the best looking character I have seen in games but I have a thing for redheads (even if it's not a natural red) so .... hoping not her either^^.
My bet is on Sophia. Not that I don't like her looks but looking at the entire lineup she does not quite fit in. Well okay, Alexis stands out even more but since my expressed fondness of readheads we will simply ignore that fact okay? Good! ^^. Of course this could be concidered a reason to keep her like that (diversity and what not) but that's why my bet is Sophia.

I do not expect you to confirm or deny that since you said you announce it when it is done. It's just fun for me to guess

Edit: Ah, I forget what I came here to ask. The fapping at night where you can choose your "target", is that supposed to be on a loop so you can look at all of them or is it a bug? Currently it only ends when choosing "I'm too tired".

If it is on purpose I like to suggest to change the text from "I'm too tired" to "That's enough for tonight" (or something like that) after you have watched at least one of the scenes. I know it's a very very VERY small detail but it did put me off a bit so I thought I ask.

Nah tbh it is sandra, at first i liked her but on the second thought i want her more to look like the mom in young so ya ... i will remake all sandra scenes and update version 0.1 in a few days because we are working on 0.2 as well while redoing the sandra stuff. Most of her scenes where grainy as fuck anyway so i doubt anyone complains about this decision.

The pictures get saved into the gallery after you looked at all of them but since our menu placement kinda sucks most people prolly didn't even saw the gallery, but all of this will be fixed in the next version.
