You should really change the UI to something more dark. Without pointing over it I couldnt find the "save" button.

so far the presentation is really good. i like that its broken into smaller chunks instead walls of text, actually made me engage with the story. Looking forward to future updates.

Nice start, it's hard to follow the "right choices", but this may be part of the future fun. That said, for now it's very short, lets wait some more versions to play again.
There's a plot error. When hiring you for the waitress job, Max first says not to worry about the uniform, the club provides them.
Then he tells you to go and buy one from the mall instead.

I just want to say, remove timed responses. Some of us don't read very fast and it seems by the time we have read to that spot, it is gone. Not sure if it is controlled by a stat or it is just built in, but remove it.

One actually makes a game for the fun of all, without asking for money, patreon, etc. just to contribute, not expecting you would rate the game a 1 because you can’t cheat. Honestly, I don’t know why I bothered making a game. You would say that I shouldn’t have bothered, and I’m thinking you might be totally right.
PD: You can cheat and put the variables at the maximum you would get at that point, not go crazy. The game doesn’t check if you have touched the save file. The reason is because I was planning to have dialogue, the side board and other stuff change according to these variables, and I wanted to control them so the game wouldn’t break. Not that you care, but I believe that if you would asked the reason behind this, or suggested to change it, it would have been healthier for the two of us.
I thought the Cheat Detect/Game Over was a great little Easter Egg. I loved it! You found lovely art for it. Don't let the unfiltered and unappreciative discourage you when so many others are clearly enjoying your work.
And technically it's a good thing to discourage people from cheating too hard, because they'll inevitably try to use that save game later and if the stats are all out of whack, they'll miss content / get inconsistent results.
Maybe you could put the required value in the parentheses alongside the check? Like "(Exhibitionism checked > 4)". That could help everyone to know what stat they need and may help the compulsive cheaters to restrain themselves. (It does take a little challenge out of the game though.)
I do agree with the review that the lack of back button/rollback does make it harder to enjoy everything the game has to offer though.
This would be awesome. I love games where the environment evolves with the character/story, so I wholeheartedly support your efforts to keep the variables within limits that are appropriate for the game progress.

First things first, you need to care less about reviews. Not everyone will like every game. You will make divisive choices such as NTR or no NTR, blacked or no blacked, sissy or no sissy. No matter what you pick you piss off one side and get some bad reviews. Just make the best game you can make.
As for bothering? You definitely should've bothered and you can 100% improve this game to be a top game.
1 star is not because you can't cheat it's because of several reasons combined - all of which I mentioned in the review briefly.
1) The game shows some promise in formatting/writing/coding/story but ends without showing any scenes whatsoever. Right now it's not a porn game.
2) The only way to get something adjacent to porn is to replay the game 15 times guessing what outcomes lead to the right stats and guessing what stat locks allow you to click certain options. This isn't fun or interesting gameplay - hence the cheating.
3) When presented with an unfun non-porn gameplay loop I loaded a save editor to skip the shit and the game locked itself for detecting cheating. This means instead of coding playable content you coded anti-cheat checks. I have no idea what they SHOULD be so I just set them to 10, because every choice I made seemed to lock future content with no implication as to how or why.
I don't care if you make a patreon, I'd encourage it, if you make a game you deserve to get paid. It will help you. Do it. Make it right now.
In my personal view the review is warranted. Right now this is an unfun game with zero porn. It's up to you if you care about that feedback and wish to use any of it in your design process. You can also think "man you cant please everyone" and add more of the same. Up to you.
It has the potential to be 5 star in the future but it needs at least 2-3 hours of content and less awkward stat gating. You can't expect more than 2-3 stars for a game which has zero porn on a porn site.
Finally a game writtted by a clever person. Not a bangy cunt getting banged on streets. Concept, idea, dialogues and everything seems pretty alright. Only thing should be changed is text style. It's a little bit eye-tring imo. Keep it up
