naw its just more unnecessary censorship/control that no one wants. this game's going down the shitter like a lot of games on patreon are.
Can someone at least upload the entire progress report so we can make our own opinion or do we just have to listen to you guys cry again?

You mean a consent form like the Farm content has had for almost 2 and a half years now, you know, long before Patreon's guidelines were even an issue?

don't remember that, but soon patreon will have you 'consenting' to every little thing. some things i agree with are the anti-bestiality shit and anti-incest.

Not sure if you read Mulan's comment relating to this exact issue being brought up, but the comment heavily implies that nothing in game is actually changing based on the guideline changes. The Patreon page and Discord will likely be cleaned up, but the content of the game, which is hosted on MEGA not Patreon, seems to be remaining the same. The consent form is like both I and someone else already said, an extension of content filtering that already exists in the game at the Farm entrance.

I don't see the massive issue here. If Mulan doesn't feel like the game will survive transferring to another site or believes they can toe the line enough without going over it with Patreon, they aren't going to move anywhere else to possibly lose money and kill the game. Milking the Patreon for all it is worth while they still can is the correct move.

Non-consent roleplay in fiction is not permitted by their rules. We're talking roleplay done by fictives characters but that is somehow offensive to the point of being censured. I can write the story of a killer that use a lawnmower on kids in a nursery but hypnofetish fiction is too much.
The majority of non-consent in the games we are talking about is also not "roleplay". It's just fictional non-consent. Run of the mill porn sites will no longer produce results when searching for words like "hypno", "hypnosis", or "mind control". The pornography industry started taking a hardline against non-consent porn awhile ago, I'm not sure why this continues to be a surprise to people.

As far back as 2021 Patreon had a clause in the 18+ category of their guidelines that stated "fetish creations that are hard to distinguish from non-consensual sex" are not allowed. That statement has always included hypnosis/mind control, the only difference now is that they specifically call them out. Which begs the question, why haven't they been banning for it up until now? Most likely because they make a non-insignificant portion of revenue from it. It's very much don't ask don't tell, which is why the bans have not started rolling in en masse. Patreon is not constantly patrolling creators' pages and are really only making moves against creators in blatant, egregious violation. Since the guideline update, we have even seen a few games that were under review be given the OK by Patreon, even though the content of the games are still definitely in violation of the guidelines, the creator's page and social media are just now considered "clean". The changes are still and have always been just for optics. All that's changed is toeing the line got a little bit harder.

Regarding your comparison to ultraviolent content still being allowed as long as it's fictional, not much I can offer besides: that's just the way it is, at least in America (which Patreon is an American company). Basically any kind of violence is okay, but a lot of legislators would kill to ban ALL forms of pornography, not just non-consent. See: Texas.

You know you can just put an uncensor patch on f95 and call it a day right? This is such a non issue, my god y'all are overreacting.

The problem isn't about practical solution but about the principle that fiction is unnecessary censored . There are solutions but that problem shouldn't even exist in the first place (I speak only about fiction not deepfakes or real humans crimes).

I don't understad why pay processors and card companies can be alowed to censor fictional content or art, i would understad if they were drug or human traficking related issues, but censoring art or porn is stupid.
It's like how a store owner can choose not to stock certain brands at their store because they don't like the product. They aren't discriminating against an idea or person, they just don't want to be involved in those transactions, be it for personal, political, or legal reasons. To them, it is safer to just not handle the related transactions at all, and they are leveraging their market share to force the companies they work with to comply as well. It's what happened to OnlyFans, as well as Pornhub back when they were forced to remove over half of their video library. They've just now moved on to Patreon.
