Which scene is this? I don't think I have come across a scene that repeats more than just 'trigger' phrases between actual new content.

It's the 3rd brainwashing scene with the Mother and no it is just endless drivel without actual content again and again and again...

I just ran through that scene for the first time in awhile. It took maybe 5 minutes and is definitely not "the same three words" on repeat. It took me longer to get to the scene than doing the scene took. A lot of walking, with nothing in between. That'd be my criticism.
Maybe I'm alone in this, but isn't hypnosis and brainwashing supposed to have some repetition in the message it is trying to imprint? If you want less, then by all means I hope other people speak up and Mulan sees it, that's fine. But I'm on the opposite side here. I don't mind the reading and DON'T want to see scenes significantly reduced in length.

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the writing, as...insane as it is. But that scene just broke me in a different way.

I liked it, but that one scene was just...overindulgent. I wasn't even the one who brought it up.
If I were to complain about one thing in this game that would be the lore. Especially the really dumb shit like "Mount Rush B".

That’s actually a really good point and I agree - I’m going to change Shwifts real name from Taylor to Polina for that exact reason.
Buuuut, this is a satire and things will become more ridiculous in the future, so I’m not sure we should change that one.
I guess I’ll return to this topic after we’ll add more lore.

I liked it. It's definitely longer than all the other events, but it never really seemed too long to me. Doesn't seem to be an uncommon opinion that it was too long though, so I dunno. Maybe something that will be polled on at some point. Our fate lies with the Patrons

What surprises me is that people complain that this game has a lot of text and repetitive sequences of art, while there is Caliross, where people in the comments piss themselves with delight at the "scenes", which have twice as much text and you stare at one picture for 10 minutes.

Everything is explained there. The Empress served in the army and they were forced to paint trees and grass green there.
I am Russian and served in the army in 2020 (we have compulsory conscription service here). And in the army, they really paint the grass and trees green in the spring. And we also painted dirty snow white. And also chose stones in an open field behind the canteen building. And buried a cigarette butt with the whole company because one of our guys smoked in the barracks. And a bunch of other absurd shit.
Do you know why we did it? And all because a non-fucked (not busy with work) soldier is doing shit. That's what our foreman said.
We even have an expression in Russia: "Those who served in the army don't laugh in the circus." (After all, in our army they create such an absurdity that nothing surprises later.)
I'm even surprised how accurately some moments of the USSR and Russia are ridiculed. Dear developer, are you by any chance Russian?) Or do you have Russian friends?)
Because I doubt that you could make fun of many moments so perfectly without getting to know Russia and the USSR)
