I should post here more, rather than just lurk, if only to let people know that development is ongoing. I'm active on my blog and elsewhere, though that's probably less visible to people than it feels to me.
Development is going well. Like anomajou says, PurityGuy has taken over management of the repo. He's much better at it than I, and it's a lot of work. I'll push my changes to the dev branch shortly before the sneaky update, which should hopefully be soonish. There are some key scenes I need to write still. It'll indeed add a new class to school.
As for the game being a mess balance-wise, I basically agree. I'm happy for the game to be hard for new players, as long as it's engaging rather than frustrating, but there need to be more ways for veterans to push the limits. Managing trauma becomes too much of a non-issue once you know the ins and outs, and the figures for the various money sources need adjusting as well. Though I tend to add consequences, rather than nerf things.
