Yeah, it would be nice in the future to have some sort of hard/challenge mode where the difficult is more in tune to how it was in past versions, maybe even with some exclusives feats/achievements to boot!
By the way I'm not complaining at all regarding the new and more accessible ways that made the game "easier", since that's more or less a byproduct of new mechanics and more events being added to the game (which is a good thing) and it is nice for people who enjoy a more laid-back playtrough.
All I'm saying is that an optional challenge mode would be great, or perhaps following the same pattern of having and adding multiple sliders for certain gameplay elements that we could fine-tune to our own preferences, i. e. reducing the amount of money rewards per job/thiefing, increasing NPC resistances, etc though I figure having this many toggles would be messy, so maybe just the single option of enabling "dark souls" mode
