Ah, okay, yeah, I never strived to get purity down, but when trying to raise willpower, I notice it took practically three months of daily lake meditation to even get the first bar almost to half way, and I started with the basic slight willpower. Hope those strategy they provide helps out, though, Good luck! That's one of my three saves, main one actually.
Purity decreases when there's coom involved probably inside for best results...
I'm still trying to lower purity but it barely decreases at all.
Awareness too is a dam- problem, after reaching 2, I have zero clues where / how to increase it.
Avery doesn't really care, all he wants is to take you out on a date -> do whatever it is depending on the result -> repeat, That's why I don't see any harm from rejecting 'em.
Willpower can be cheesed by edging them until the arousal bar is full then switch to uhh "piston" soo after the "burst" -> +Willpower w/o struggling since the deed is done already, they're satisfied...
Oh! Okay, that makes me feel a little safer now, I don't mind stripping for the perv police (though in game wise, I'd perfer they toss a couple bills; this ain't free, coppers!), but I was afraid one of my roles would have them randomly locking me up. It's pretty simple not to pass out, especially with my save methods, I've actually never managed to pass out yet, and I wasn't even trying. I did pass out once on a mock play, because I was disregarding the play through to collect information for certain routs, but it's pretty easy to avoid in my case; I got a good system going. In regards to getting put in the stocks, they will only do that if you pass out and go to the hospital. Then you have 3 chances to bail on them before they lock you in. Otherwise just "play along" with their stop and gropes and you are safe.
It does yes.The fact that you can enjoy playing this game while trying not to get fucked says a lot about its quality
ngl, there is something to the aspect of losing, even when I usually end up throwing PCs in many games into enemies, there's something much more satisfying about it than just browsing a galleryIt does yes.
I've seen folks criticizing a game: "you have to lose to see the content? eugh bad game garbage and pointless hurr"... but that's such a peanut-brain criticism, because the mere possibility of losing (and taken advantage of) at any point is what a lot of people find alluring in the first place.
In other words, some people enjoy trying to keep the MC as pure as possible and also enjoy the idea that if they make a mistake or fail, that their MC will be subjected to the assailants perversions. This is the hidden appeal of such games that many people don't even realize.
Sure some are free to choose to play those types of games as slutty as they wish and continuously throw themselves or lose on purpose and etc (and that's fine), but I'm sure I'm not alone in finding the idea of playing in such a depraved world and trying to stay pure and safe is very appealing indeed.
And the more Vrelnir continues to add non-hentai stuff to do in the simulation, the more immersive and fun the gameplay will be while trying to avoid being fucked... and well, the more possible "perils" he adds the more challenging and rewarding it will be to try and avoid them
Too true!It does yes.

Relatable and I understand where you're coming from....I only find failure rape appealing, when it's with the characters I want to do the raping, if that makes sense?...
...but mainly because love interests can rape, which is all I ever really wanted; far too many dark game uses rape as a punishment for the player, while me, with a rape fetish, should enjoy it in contrast to my character, who should be the one feeling punished.
The rape is the goal for me, I want it to happen, I just have to make sure it occurs on my terms, with the scenes and characters I want...
That's exactly it. To me, the fact that it's a game/fiction already fits my criteria of control. If I play the game "well" (i.e. don't lose, don't fall into the traps, etc) I can avoid the rape, but if later if I so choose to throw myself into the assailants, then that is also my choice. So the notion that I can control the actions of the MC and choose whether I'll succumb or not has a much greater appeal than simply going browsing pictures, even if the general outcomes are the same.ngl, there is something to the aspect of losing, even when I usually end up throwing PCs in many games into enemies, there's something much more satisfying about it than just browsing a gallery
There's something similar to that in Kylar's Halloween event.I know this breaks with the theme, but I have to ask.
Some time ago (a few months) I don´t know in what update it was but I remember that I read someone lost there saying that there was an event where having Robin as a couple, you could have an NTR event in which Witney would play the villain of the story and Once the event was over, Robin would question you about the relationship and you had the option of telling him that you liked Witney more (in the style of almost 80% of the Hen of 2011-to date) which would cause him to leave your world forever, is that true or was it crazy that someone mentioned a very kamikaze?
And by the way, anyone knows if the dev will add new poses or graphic scenes to the game in the near future? Or something even more distant and strange as sound to accompany the environment during the game?
That's a bit weird tbh, but I understand it. Irl it is still kinda bad, in hentai I wouldn't mind reading it, because of the fact that I know that it will end ok.The truth of the matter is more as you described: while we do fantasize about rape, that fantasy is wrapped in the context of a scenario where we have some level of control over it. That control might mean that it's by doing it with someone we have a relationship with or with an acquaintance that we find attractive and that we know will not maliciously hurt us, etc.
Hello!By the way, have any of you here played CoC? Because I initially thought this game will be like CoC, and hoped it wouldn't be like CoC.
Hello!
I have not played CoC, but I have played TiT(S?) way back when, and I heard the two were about the same??? Honestly, I don't think they compare to DoL, unless you're asking similar HTML type, read to play, game, then... I guess?
I'm going to be frank with you, you're asking a question that boarders on opinion, without enough information to even really answer that. Are you asking if you were to look for this game in a store, would they be in the same category? Or are you asking would people who play DoL have CoC in their "Also played/recommend this" list? Or are you asking if the appeal to DoL matches the appeal to CoC? I believe you're gonna have to explain what it is you're trying to avoid, more than what it is you preconceive is a similarity, to get a satisfying answer.
For example, I didn't touch CoC because, even though it provides one (I think?), I didn't feel it to be very het-woman protagonist inclusive. Also, the downfall for TiTS for me, was that it lacked substantial love interests, especially of the male variety, and, because of that, I couldn't even pursue anyone with the imagination that our relationship matters; I believe any LIs in TiTS was given with a mediocre event, and then the commitment was implied? I don't know, the wiki/forums only talked about female LIs, and, even then, I heard them complain that any relationships were just imagined via their major sex scene. Also, I played through TiTs for 5 hours, within a five day span, and I never ran into anyone who attracted my interests/wanted to commit to (actually never saw a man in that game, to be honest); I remember a lot of the monsters/combatants being female, or grotesque monsters, so I couldn't even be satisfied with the porn of it.
I play (games like) DoL for the NPC relationships, and DoL, currently in it's developing state, provides that for me, considering you can even toggle a love interests in the settings; the biggest indicator that a relationship will matter, in game. I dunno if CoC offers this. Secondly, DoL's setting is a slice of life, “You do you and someone might try andfightrape you for it” game play, while I think games like CoC (assuming here, never played it), because of it's "relation" (again, assuming, I see a lot of people comparing them) with TiTS, focus more on battle-sex is the goal “Find something to fight and/maybe fuck to get your skills up” type game. Even though there's almost literally a fight around every corner in DoL, I'm able to immerse myself into thinking my character is just a normal person trying to go about their day, and once in a while some creep engages them in combat/AKA rape, while I remember TiT feeling like absolutely nothing was happening if you didn't pursue a combatant to engage in; battle-sex, in theory, could be avoided entirely in DoL, while in TiT, avoiding a battle was akin to standing around waiting. As a plus, DoL has a pretty fun combat/sex (they're pretty much the same thing here) mechanic that I found pretty unique, and never experienced before; it takes your hands, feet, and mouth (along with sexy bits) into equation, instead of the rudimentary "punch, kick(critical chance), item, flee" options most RPGs provide. It really adds inclusion to not only the battle, but also the sex, when most games would have to fight until a win/lose, then you get smacked with an erotic text to enjoy (not complaining, just DoL opened my eyes).
And last, but certainly not least, if you got a hankering rape kink, DoL's entire premises focus around wanting to ravish your character, it's practically everyone's driving force, and the obstacle you're character is solely made to avoid/embrace. But that's a plot/setting feature, and not really game mechanic?
Throw me a bone, though, eh? I don't know exactly what you're statement is implying, you post as if someone's gonna go “Ah, yes! That CoC, I dislike it for the same reasons as you, here's why I ran to DoL~...”
Oh, shoot, I didn't intend to come off as aggressive! It's all good, no offense here. I posts novels, so that's a basic response from me, think nothing of it! Most of that wall of text was me answering your question, thoroughly, to the best of my ability; I honestly never played CoC, so I'm sorry I couldn't give accurate input to your question, but since I heard TiTS is similar, I tried to compare what I figure was the next best thing. I also tried to offer my game play experience in DoL, if that could help you in your comparison, but take that with a grain of salt, because everyone experience everything differently.I... wow... uhm, didn't expect an essay to my somewhat innocent question.
Anyways, I just seen somewhere that they are similar. So I wanted to check if that's true or not. I suppose it WAS a bad move to say what I said, I am just kinda... salty about CoC, and wanted to know what other people are thinking about it. I should have asked outright perhaps, or simply never ask in the first place (that was a dick move after all)
If I offended anyone, I am really sorry, that wasn't my intention at all. Please don't kill me...
You didn't come off as agressive, I just realised that what I said was... pretty fucking bad. Like I'm trying to pick a fight. In reality I just want to understand why people like CoC. Because there were several things that didn't sit well with me, and I am not talking about fetishes, because it's kink shaming and kink shaming is stupid (as long as it doesn't actually hurt anyone)Oh, shoot, I didn't intend to come off as aggressive! But if you were just looking to shoot the shit at a peeve of yours, that's cool, too; I do personally believe DoL is by far better than those games, for the general plot alone, and what I read up on CoC, it seems pretty old school. It reminds me of an old text game I played several years back, "Flexible Survival", I played it for it's unique charm, as it was one of the first text base game I ever played, but it was pretty hollow and only served as a quirky curiosity to the erotic content. I believe DoL won't disappoint you if you're looking for substance, but it is still in development, so who knows what the future holds for the completed game? Looks like further greatness, to me, though!
Ah, I understand! I don't think it's too much of a problem to vent your frustrations of another game, especially if you find DoL to meet those expectations CoC lacked for you.You didn't come off as agressive, I just realised that what I said was... pretty fucking bad. Making the sexual content a reward instead of something that happens on failure makes sense from a game-design perspective, I mean the point of games is to win and the point of lewd games is to see lewds so if you align those two together it just makes perfect sense right? Well I don't know why but in practice games that use sexual content as a reward tend to just be grindy and soulless, like you're just grinding to see that next CG, rinse and repeat. As for games that have loss on content, you're not just playing to win the game, you are also constantly battling the temptation to give in to your sexual urges, which is super hot. That's not to say there aren't any bad "content on loss" games, but I've personally yet to find an impressive "content on win" game. For this reason I really dislike male protag games because you are usually put in a dominant position, doesn't help that they also have terrible writing where you always end up banging your neighbor, babysitter, childhood friend, step-sister, sister, mother, aunt, the dog, all on the same day somehow.I've seen folks criticizing a game: "you have to lose to see the content? eugh bad game garbage and pointless hurr"...
