I mean, it couldn't be hard to code in like an event gate, so that it forces the PC to do all Whitney event first then the dismissive event for her, in order to make her realize the pain she caused and try to do good if the PC decided to not go through with dismissing her? Or is it? (though it would make the game a bit restrictive compared to before I guess)

The problem isn't code to switch to another set of behaviors, it's having a second set of behaviors. I would love to see Whitney change, but it requires doubling all the scenes that involve them, and all future scenes. I assume that if something does happen it would have to be the focus of an update as having it half done would either end up with Whitney randomly acting with old behaviors when encountering scenes that haven't been rewritten, or the game skipping a bunch of Whitney content if it just skips things that haven't been rewritten.

Its the type of content they could make once they are done adding random "new" content like pregnancy, new locations, new LIs, new animations etc. I guess the problem is that the planned content pile is more enormous than Whitneys dick. Personally I'd love it if they fleshed out the existing content more than adding new.

Robin: Since the Robin update dating them is just struggling, if you don't pay they get rape, if you get stun-lock by the huge amount of rape they get rape, if you get kidnap by a side character for weeks they get rape. The only way to progress is to throw away money constantly and pray that your MC don't get kidnap while Robin remains naive knowing what could happen.

i got 2 ideas for "rent" both requiring English check to convince the Bailey, 1 paying in advance 2 paying monthly rent. i would balance both by 1 making paying in advance cost 1.1 times more (2000 to 2400) and 2 making month cost 4.5 weeks at the highest(before the game stops increasing it so at the start(example start of the game 100,300.500,700 700 would be the amount x4.5))

Also it needs to be what the majority want. There have been polls run and Vrelnir is usually pretty active with the players to get ideas. So it can be a thing, just after a certain mass of people want the same thing. Also that sounds like major things, since they have to just add so much.
A long term goal to give the characters more personality would be a great idea though. Maybe do the Sydney approach and have the player influence them one of two ways. That way there's enough for multiple playthroughs but not so much that it overwhelms the writers.
(Actually my brain just recalled as I was typing what I was thinking of. Throne of Ashes. Each character has a main personality and two potential versions of themselves that depends on your playthrough. Those two will be opposites of each other but their main personality and ideals are still the same.)

Definitely, not only romantic interests are under-develop, also a lot of mechanics and places. The brothel, the underground brothel, the police station, the dance school, all of these places have a lot of potential, not only new events but also storylines. However, the most neglected place of all is the school, with the never-ending grind for popularity with bullshit events and no compensation.

Also, I would love to see the combat/sex improve, with more dialogues and different personalities for different NPCs. For example, if you pick a college student who is virgin at the bar, they call you a bitch mid sex, or when you pick a married wo/man, they start beating you even if they where the ones nervous about it. More consistent random dialogues for random characters would be very good.

All it "restores" is a few instances where the PC is called a kid instead of teen/young adult or off hand mentions simliar to that. A full 99.9% of the game is the exact same. Its basically equivalent to taking a body of text the size of lord of the rings and swapping 12 words in it.

There's only *been* two surveys to my knowledge in the past 3 years and the one before the one after the pregnancy update, pregnancy was the most requested feature by a mile. So I am not sure why you're implying the devs aren't doing what they want - it's silly, it's well known Vrelnir doesn't even like pregnancy and needed others to write it since it's not their thing.

Additionally, what are you even referring to? Have there even been updates in the past few years without content updates to side characters and/or LIs? There was a huge swath of Kylar and Whitney expansions in the past few updates, then there was the Robin-suffering stuff, Sirris' sex shop (which was one of the last updates before pregnancy), the black wolf scenes, the kennel, the new Alex stuff, just last update there were content additions and new options to the brothel.


You're free to want more of a certain type of content and ask for that. But you're representing the devs as if they're just ignoring what the players want and doing something else and should start working on things they... have been working on practically every update. They've always been following the surveys and I think it's really unfair to them to vocalize your own desires this way. All the content you mention was a shell of what it is now a few years ago. Sure, it could use more. But they are adding more every update and the biggest recent feature - which they're still fleshing out, was consistently the most requested feature for years... They're just doing a bit of all the major requests, opposed to zeroing in solely on what you'd like.


Honestly, I am not sure why people are so eager to get critical here. I follow a lot of games, none of them are getting new content as quickly as DoL is and none cater to such a wide field of interests and ways to play. It can be better, of course, and recent updates have been slower - but those updates were also incredibly large, much requested features. Believing some of the people in this topic, you'd almost think the game earns an abandoned tag for pushing out what, 20+ scenes, 3 new areas, new hairstyles, new sprites for various things, a hugely requested mechanic (and fully featured - still lacking story content true, but mechanically it's more complete than just about anything else I've seen), new skills, new traits and a new transformation, amongst other things, over multiple months.

We've not had an update in a few months, anyone can check the git and see they're still adding scenes and features every week.

your post was too long to read so I skimmed it and noticed this sentence, as someone who plays this game once every few months this sentence really surprised me as I personally could not find any noticeable new content in the past year+ or so I have since I discovered the game as for github, I don't even know where I would find that is there a link somewhere?

There is new content but sometimes is behind late game stuff or is not that relevant for certain people but it is for others. However, I agree that it feels stale, specially with the porn content, the updates that we receive for it has been mostly GUI and some new actions, new spicy dialogues has been non existing.

As I mention before, it sucks that if you are faithful with Kylar you can't access the manor without being kidnap and also being faithful to Whitney while being bully as always.

Asking for the game to be better in a reasonable way and more consistent can't be a bad thing. But as people mention before, I will love to see the exiting content being expanded, there has been like a year without updates for the swimming teacher who has been one of the main winners in the survey.

One big downside of this game is the grind can be pretty severe so stuff added to the lategame will take a long time to find.
