You know its really telling when someone says something like people should be treated equal that the first thought a lot of people have is "thats so communist". Like somehow the crazy concept that people shouldnt be oppressed and put down is some kind of insane political stance. Especially since a lot of people will hear shit like gay people shouldnt exist or trans people need to be hunted down and just nod like it makes total sense.
Not an attack or calling out anyone just a random thought that came to mind.

Well, I don't see the idea of communism in a negative light. If it could be pulled off successfully, I think it could be pretty cool. I said that they sounded like they were running as a communist president because they suggested complete equality, which is a very communist ideal.
Too bad I'm not sure communism could be pulled off. Most people don't actually want true equality, so I could see it devolving into corruption fairly quickly. Also, a successful communist system would have to be nuanced, cause frankly you can't actually be truly equal. Just try your best to get as close as possible without being unreasonable.

Let's all get our PCs equally fucked by wolves before mods swoop in and bomb this convo.
so im using the firemod windows ver (with the embedded beesss mod enabled) but some of the sprite images of the clothing items are not HD ver and also not in the right place (especially the shoes), do any of you have any idea on how to fix it ? I tried replacing the img folder with a separately downloaded beessss mod but that didnt really work out
attaching some examples... cat suit + heels = absolute mess... let alone the oversized tattoos
I also read from a few posts ago that the combat sprites will still be the vanilla ver (even with beessss mod) for the meantime, please correct me if im wrong, thx!

Simply means those clothing items aren't updated by the mod.
so its not me getting illusions at 4:38am and asking myself if ive done anything wrong but its just it is what it is

Did you install the community items pack as well? A lot of the clothing items are included in there and not the main mod. Some things are still not updated though. To get the most coverage, use the below link in addition to the main mod.

Is there any info on how far off the next update might be? Trying to decide whether to start a new game or hold off for the time being
Nobody knows except of a few elect people. There is no sneaky update so far. So it's at least 1 or 2 weeks.
The upcoming changes do not look groundbreaking. So I guess it's safe to start a new game.
Though I'd hold onto my virginities, maybe there's a new use for them?
Is there a mod that makes your clothing a material other than paper? Seriously, everything I wear becomes see-through shortly after becoming wet, and seems to shatter to pieces within a day or two of use.

No mods I'm aware of.
A trick for (somewhat) countering the see-through... wear swimming clothes as underwear.
And as for torn cloths... I just enable the auto-rebuy option and use the unified wardrobe option. You're rarely far away from one of the wardrobes/lockers.
Not sure if this is an okay question, but does anyone know if theres a game like this, with animations etc. that isn't a porn game?

I think they're asking for "game that has a player avatar (pixel graphics?) with customization/dress-up features; characters/dialogue, world exploration, and simulation-esque gameplay similar to Degrees of Lewdity would also be ideal." I could be wrong. I've tried a few older games that I thought would actually be like that, but simulation games along those lines seem to always be frustrating to control or accomplish anything in, and also usually abstract way too much, so I always fail to stick with them. I've even tried to play the Sims several times, and it's just like...between my character constantly wandering off to do whatever she apparently wants and both the skill/trait stuff and character interactions all being way over abstracted, it just isn't very fun to me.So basically a soft run with zero encounter rate.

Yeah, that is what I ment.
I love the whole mostly text-based RPG kind of thing, with actual graphics that change (pixel is always preferbly for the retro style, Imo), and a large world to explore, events, outfits with different effects, people to befriend, etc. etc.
The ideal would be basically something like a game borderline identical to Degree of Lewdity in terms of mechanics, but with just the rape scenes being normal fights; with the outfit stats possibly reflect that. Wouldn't really care if it had sex scenes, as long as it still had romance or at least the befriend aspect.

Degree of Lewdity does almost everything perfectly on the mechanics front in my opinion, and it would be fun to play more games like it, with a variety of stories, and not everything focused on sex or rape.
