Hikari combat is currently not really usable after the new update, and Hikari is not working on the mod anymore so they can't update it. The side portrait was easier to fix but combat is more complicated and time consuming. Unless someone volunteers for the task, it won't be done.

I accidentally saved my game with cheats active and now my playthrough is flagged as "cheated".
Changing the "locked" for Feats settings from true to false with a save editor isn't enough to clean a save file. (Feats are unlocked only for a single passage if you do this)
What else do I need to edit to unlock Feats again for the playthrough?

I couldn't tell you, but if you didn't know, if you us the cheat menu in debug mode, it keeps your save from getting flagged. Beware that you still can't get feats while in debug mode.

Since the recent changes on DoLP allows for Meek to be used even though you're defiant, I feel like as part of an AMC option, there should be the typical anime 'looks like a normal or even weak person but actually really strong' option, in that Physique stat isn't used when setting the outcome of an event where the character 'looks' at your Physique - mainly those events like the School Hallway stalker event, where at higher Physique if you were Meek they'd look at you confused because you're a meek muscle (boy/girl). Instead, this setting would make those sort of events act like as if your Physique was below the benchmark instead.

Since there is no cheat for it does anyone know a command to manually add the hypnosis traits? Farthest I can noodle out on my own is 'SugarCube.State.variables.hypnosis_traits' and 'SugarCube.State.variables.hypnosis' but nothing seems to work on that end. Couldn't find anything specific when save editing either.

If you're not actively playing the game yourself anymore, it can be difficult to motivate yourself to keep maintaining a major mod for it indefinitely, especially when the game in question is still actively updated and requires that your mod either create more assets or do some major re-factoring every time the game updates. I think this is especially true for an art replacement mod, because that requires that you continue to have the artistic inspiration to keep evaluating new assets and then re-create them in your own art style, and that can be pretty damned hard to manufacture when you just don't care anymore. This game has had a really long life cycle, life goes on, and it's natural that people lose interest over time.

I've thought of trying to take over essential maintenance of the Fire Mod, since (I think) it's been out of date for about a year now, but I fear that working in the DoL environment may simply be beyond my skills...and the spectre of DoL looming over me with its frequent updates (which might seem slow to players when it's only once every 1-2 months, but which will seem way too often when you have to re-factor a bunch of shit in your mod every time it does update) is a nasty prospect.

I may have missed a post about it, but what is the "Empty shop", upstairs at the shopping center? There's nothing on it on the Wiki and I can't find something to do with it

The Empty Shop has no functional purpose. It doesn't sell anything and has no events attached to it. The reason it exists is that without it, the links to navigate the shopping centre would be misaligned.

Whenever a new store is added in an update, like the supermarket in 0.5.3, we check if there's an odd or even number of stores. If there's an odd number, the Empty Shop is added to pad out the links. See the image below:

Thanks to the Empty Shop, the links to go forward and back in the shopping centre are on the same line, with the same link navigation numbers. It has no functional purpose, it's just for player convenience.

Does it really matter why they stopped? It really doesnt matter much as long as its not due to harassment or something that can be objectively dealt with. Guy probably just lost interest or burned out.
