Sigh.... These devs build boats out of iron. I'll recant my criticism a few years from now when all these love interests have the mandatory 5 scenes (hj,bj,titjob, vag, anal) and the more desired kinky scenes are just a nice bonus. Until that happens.... (spoiler: it never will).
These people need project managers, they can't be left to their own grandiose designs, because they buckle under the weight of their own ambitions.
A lot of ships have sunk because of "poor management" (and the various stuff that goes under that umbrella). I think it's a bit jaded to immediately dismiss this project and developer because of your previous experiences though.
A lot of developers are creating things "officially" for the first time, and figure stuff out as they go. Of course, this is the point where many fail by not learning how to keep things on track etc. as you've implied, but there are good ones out there that manage to learn and adapt. BreadMan has potential, and as long as he has an overview and a clear direction for the game - we should be fine.
But like I said, I think it's a bit too early to judge anything, based on an update introducing many characters because the school was implemented. Take a look at the CGs that followed with the update, it's not an insignificant amount.
I'm a developer myself (with nothing released as of now) and I've instead focused on learning all these things before releasing anything - or even starting work on anything I intend to release for real. Like scope management, goal posts during development and what not. It's very important and they're powerful and essential tools - but experience in this field is often what leads to learning how important those tools are.
