After a year and a half of waiting, I went back to play to see how the game is going, and I'm completely disappointed. It takes too long to release anything, the stories are completely convoluted, and when a character's story is going to go to the next level, the author puts the MC to do something stupid and ruin everything, postponing the development again. You know what, author? Fuck you for making me waste my time giving this game another chance. It's weak, convoluted, and uninteresting. I'm not going to play this shit anymore, and I'm going to warn everyone who wants to give this crap a chance not to waste their time watching this. Have a good time, you greedy asshole.
The dev didn’t make you play the game, you chose to and could do so for free.

I hope you were paying for the game, because telling someone to F off because you didn’t like his gift is just pathetic.

Yes it did.

Reading the context of RiffRaff's reply it is easy to see RiffRaff agrees with you that "being just [an adult] game" does not make it immune to criticism.

However, they add, there is criticism and then there are toddlers temper tantrums, of which we have seen a few in the recent day.

No one hired Breadman to make this game specifically for them. However, the amount of entitlement of one like Uryzell showed in their little pissy post sounds like someone who has invested a shitton of money and time into the development. Uryzell did not.

This is a free game for anyone and everyone who downloads it ---- directly from the development team. It is not a paywalled game. It does not have a retail price. One does not need to subscribe in order to have access to it. (Certain tiers DO get 5 day advance release of the beta in order to beta test it before the FREE public release comes out)

It is a game that is in development. And constructive criticism can be helpful. But, like RiffRaff mentioned - acting like a babyis not the way to do it.

Also, remember, even when we do have constructive criticism --- that does not oblige the developer to follow it. They may other plans that we do not know about. They may have subscribers who are offering completely differing criticism than the freeloaders like us here.

There are 18000+ games that people can take from this site, to throw shit on the walls about one is ridiculous.

As a reminder:
Yeah, I mean one of the things I've noticed in general, and this seems to be a trend outside of this community as well and into every medium of art, is that people have a growing sense of entitlement to the things they consume.

I'm glad you brought up the "BreadManGames is not your bitch" quote because it parralells perfectly with how writer GRRM is treated because he's not meeting their needs:

People have completely deluded their thinking into violence. Breadman has literally done nothing to these people but attempt to entertain them, and they have warped objective reality into this twisted notion of mania. He's somehow offended them when all he's done is give them a fleeting sense of what they would have never of had otherwise. If these people got what they want they'd live in a world completely devoid of entertainment.

You should see how people treat writer Patrick Rothfuss. He gets messages on an almost daily basis that are completely deranged. It's absolutely wild to go this far when you don't get what you want.

Entitlement is one hell of a drug

That demon dream was hot as fuck, has me hoping that we do get a real corruption route later where stuff like that is a possible outcome, instead of just always defying and trying to fight Lilith. Not like we aren't doing what she wants anyway

MC's dick is getting weirder and weirder.. why this out-of-shape glans? It's a minor thing but I always look at it and think "eew". It should be more broad than the rest of the penis with proper roundings.

Something I've been thinking over for sometime now is that the real problem with the update was that it's a two pronged issue that anyone who belongs to a certain group of fans will see the issue that bothers them.

First of all, the update was too short relative to the time between the last one, that alone is the obvious issue.

The second issue is that there are people that still want to have the family get fucked, never mind that the cousin was the first to get boned. The padding in the story does not help when people's patience is tested, especially in H-games.

When you have the first problem and then add the second, you're gonna get a clusterfuck of an update that has little payoff regarding the slow burn and people feeling robbed over it.

If Bredman made the update sooner or had a lot more content in it, or excuse the slow burn defenders, had the family finally get the rod properly people would have been happy. Understandably the animation does take quite bit of time when it's as good as it is but real issue is the over half a year gap between the last update. If an update takes that long to be released then there is issues either due to the dev being lazy, injuries, or other matters that prevents them from releasing updates consistently.

As a rule of thumb, updates should have a 1 to 4 months cycle because otherwise the time it takes to release it will make people anxious, suspicious of grifting or just forget about it.

Ashley and Leslie were great in this update. I do get the point of those who want the updates to take less time, I wish Breadman could deliver this good (or better) in less time but I wouldn't like to see shortened scenes nor less stuff due to that.

But the people who complain aren’t paying for it lmao. So how the hell is game due to them? How the hell is boning the family as soon as possible due to them?
And even for people who pay, the deal isn’t that if you pay you get a right to harass the dev every week.

Also the sow burn and slow releases is in the damn contract from the beginning. The dev team has been adamant for years that it was the way things were. So I don’t understand what everybody’s expecting really.

Saying you’re frustrated with the pace of the releases is one thing (and it’s fine with me as long as it doesn’t get personal and repetitive), and it’s only human.
Being a moron who trashes every update for being too short while still playing the game every time and expecting things to magically become what they aren’t is another thing.
Actually it’s a victim mentality. You’re disappointed and dissatisfied with something and yet you come back to it every time lol. If Bread is such a lazy money milking dev then stop playing

A thing that I've noticed from some of the people bitching.
It's often new accounts with less than 10 posts, and it's always the same tired script;
"the dev is greedy, he is milking his fans, (I don't donate to him tho) no sex yet, nothing on the update"

These outsiders (or ban evaders/smurf accounts) are literally creating accounts just to bitch, beg, and moan.
I also think these people are perpetual "ctrl pressers", they just skip all the dialog and go straight to the scenes and if there is no penis entering a vagina, the scene doesn't count.

Well, Breadman did injure his drawing shoulder, and it hasn't fully healed, so that has partly slowed him down.
However, I challange you to draw 750 high quality drawings, and around 25 animations at 15-25 images each in 6 months whilst also having a life. Go on, I'll wait.

(By the By, he injured his shoulder trying to catch up to his own deadlines and pushing too hard)
I'll take a slightly slower update cycle to a faster one where he burns out/injures himself to the point he can't draw and thus can't finish the game.

And your 1-4 month update cycle... There are 3 things to an update. Speed of Release, Quality of Content, Amount of Content.

You get to pick 2 of those. You can't have all three, not unless you have a whole studio backing you. At which point you're running a business and not doing a passion project.
