Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You don't need to apply the patch to that, and (for now) if you do so, it will break the game. As you can see by the name the full download is already v.05.5.1. This is not an issue 99% of people will run into. We're fixing it for the 1% currently.
The "Uploader" should remove the "Patch" from GOFILE. This only serves to confuse people.

No
The patch is still useful for people who downloaded the public v.05.5 version. A lot of people download the game when they see it but only get around to it much later, happens all the time. So those people can still get the newest fixes without needing to download the entire thing again. Except the people on the BETA, they will need to get the newest full download (they will also be warned of this in the patch README).
And like I said, the issue of applying the patch in a redundant manner and breaking the game will be fixed soon, so even if you get confused and apply the patch it won't do anything.

That's the confusing thing, people usually use the version number to signify that patch belongs with that version (in my experience), what that really needs is a rename to something like "5.5 patch to 5.5.1"

I have never seen it done in that way and the tech places I've experience with did not do it in that manner neither - so we won't be doing it like that unless some really good reasons to do so pop up.
It shouldn't be an issue in the first place, because applying the patch in that case is just redundant and as such won't change or break anything. It just happened to do so now for a very small amount of people because of a small accidental change on our side. It's not a big deal :BootyTime:
Edit: Although "X version to X version patch" style naming would be useful if it turns out to be a bigger issue. But I don't think it will

Some of the people who tend to come to this thread obviously don't know jack shit of this game. Most of their argument is to say that gaps between the updates are too long which is understandable if you really crave the game but to downright lie that the dev made false promise dates is just too obnoxious.

Another one of their bad arguments are that the sex scenes are too short, that's just hilarious because this isn't a game where you instantly jump to a 30 second sex scene and it's done. The animation scenes in this games are mostly expansive, diverse and engaging. Take for example the recent update where you have you have dinner with Leslie, the scene starts with flirting, spanking, boob sucking, grinding and finally ends with a Tittyfuck. Just proves that the quality is top notch and puts all critics to shame.

Of course you can voice your opinion and dev themselves welcomes all concerns, but to just completely dismiss the dev and their efforts is just damn ludicrous.

I hope we don’t have to wait long for the next update whenever it may come out. And I do mean updated content and not a bug fix update.
Yeah, I mean, I don't see people knocking down my door for bug fixes haha I think it was implied what you meant by update - as for how long, it takes what it takes. Hopefully I can get v.06 done faster than .05 or 05.5, but it'll definitely be longer than the 12 days between the public release and 05.5.1 bug fix build

Already completed all quest, but why i can't get scene when Leslie asking you need help with HJ/Titjob?
You're playing the latest build and have completed everything in the quest log? Are you talking about getting that scene in the story or the replay room?

did you prerelease this update a couple weeks ago, like a demo or something?
The 'update' from yesterday was just bugfixes from the public release, it says as much in the changelog, which is why it's just x.5.1 and not a new numbered update (the next full update will be .06, for example).

The new version came out on June 4 for supporters, and was leaked pretty quickly here. Dunno if that was when you played it or not, but that wasn't me that put it out then. The public version came out June 9 and since then I've been working on bugfixes and some dev side stuff (while also moving and generally having my life rearranged haha)

That's the timeline, hopefully it clarifies wherever the confusion was coming from!
