As a past year-long demon slayer subscriber to this project, I do think it is honestly quite ridiculous to continue going doing this family/rando split on a 1-1 ratio.
It is, without any doubt at all, quite obvious that this project has passed its peak productivity. This is despite having continuously more resources available to help production. There is evidently some irreplaceable/unsupportable bottleneck that is capping production speed to what it is now, and that bottleneck is most likely crucial to maintaining good quality. For a multi-year project, health is not just a one time bump for variations in productivity year over year: you are going to be as sick as you are this year next year and if not sicker the year after that.
I only bring this up because at current productivity, and the scale of this project, this game is only going to lead to it either being cancelled before completion or expedited at low quality in the future. With all honestly, what self-respectable game developer is going to dedicate themselves to a singular RPGMaker project for 10 years. This game has what, like 25 side characters? Each one requiring 6+ months for their story development. Lets assume breadman even only wants 5 more side characters done before ending the main story, that's almost 5 years of developments (6 months * 5 characters + 6 months * 5 fam updated = 60/12 = 5). All whilst people keep requesting new character adds.
Maybe 1/10,000 games on this forum have ever done it. Breadman is really not going to want to venture into some other project? I love this game, and I love Breadman as a creator. But who is a porn game developer for 10 years? This project needs some communication of its long term plans, or people need to be more honest with where this game will end up.
