Any clue when we can expect next update to be out?
They don't make predictions. But it's at least a few months away.

Here are the 17 weeks progress charts (that are shared in the thread every Sunday by Zakko) for v0.07.0 so far:

To put this in perspective... the 19th week of progress for v0.06.5 was on 7 Jul 2024:

And v0.06.5 wasn't released until November - 4 months later.

Last week's final Victory doodle!

Nice touch with the socks on Amira. She accepts defeat with some grace... "my time will cum".

-Most definitely looking forward to eyeballing Sophia's spectacular puffies from every angle going forward. The artwork approach on those is fantastic, and oughta differentiate her quite nicely from the throng... nom, nom, nom.

It has been asked before, yeah
Art and Animation are separate tasks - they both involve drawing, yes, but there is a difference in process.

Animation involves the H-scenes, sequential art and all that and I can focus on one at a time. Art isn't all art, it covers Scene Art, so all the connective stuff that plays during scenes between the sprites and busts that lead up to the animations and covers a ton of different backgrounds, poses, expressions, etc

They both involve drawing, but they're separate tasks and cover different parts of the dev cycle
I do find that surprising, and/or interesting. Rather than develop the art until you're comfortable enough with the representation of actions taking place in a sequence or scene, and how they appear, in a linear manner - and THEN focus in on some specific actions taking place within that for animation. You go right at the meticulous part first and THEN build around that.

Very interesting. I would guestimate most creators work the reverse of that.

In any case, good on ya, mate - it's workin' for ya!

Let me find out Bread has favorites... First the Sofia propaganda sketch (idk if he's ever done that lol.) Then on this doodle Amira has "V.10 girl" on her boob.......
Maybe when we get to v0.10, Bread will just go, “Ya know what? Fuck polls. I’m gonna do what I want.”

Yeah, not really. We've been here for a while and we had our time to make our choices. So, please, don't talk like that.
Milfkiller's been posting in this thread for a little over three years, so he's well aware of the approximate time between releases.
If six months is suddenly a big enough problem for him, then yes, he absolutely should go and look at any of the 21,000 other choices to take up his time.

its crazy how you can stretch a game with so little content into so many hours by just doing rpgm animation and repeating the same scene slowly 20 times
