Agent's pretty active on the discord and helps a lot, here and there, with folks' questions. I've said a couple of times over there that I'm aiming for October for v.05 - though as always it takes as much time as it takes, no guarantees for when it drops.

usually it involves filling out a resume and contacting HR or ownership, although most companies nowadays use online portals like Indeed or Linkedin.

If you meant in the game, you can get a job at the hospital during the visit when your Mom takes you there - talk to the front desk and the Janitor in the Maternity Ward. You can also get a pizza delivery job by going to church on Sunday after meeting the Freeman sisters.
