I've tried everything. I've reloaded the autosave, reloaded the previous save, turned off combat mode. But it always happens the same way: I go down to the beach, during the monologue I catch the three little crabs, then the giant crab appears and hits me while the monologue is still going on. And then I die immediately, there's no way to maneuver.

This could be a stretch but it might work. Go to data\Enemies.json, open it with notepad or any other text editor, search for Hellcrab and edit this "params":[20,0,6,20,10,20,12,15] to "params":[1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0], close and restart the game

If it works, it will give it 1HP and 0 attack damage, maybe it gives you time to get out of the dialogue

This is one of those games that you are like "wtf!? almost one year and no upgrade?" but when the upgrade comes: <3<3<3<3<3 one of the my top 5 ngl

This was a torturing, mad cliffhanger. Even though we got a good amount of Leslie's in main campaign, this non ending in Cassie's quest hurt. Whenever seeing Leslie I just want more Leslie.

here is what i do just to let you know next time you play a game make two are saves are more so you have a back up if this happens.

Don't know what to tell you. Just used a fresh download and the name change is in the inventory and also at Sal's(but only after you use the inventory one and only from the upper(blonde) clerk). Maybe don't use your old save and use the one that comes with each new version in slot 50 - starts you at the new content.

Unfortunately, nothing has changed either. I'll wait for the next update to see if it improves things. I don't have any other ideas.

Hop on the Discord if you'd like proper support. At the very least we could probably fix the save.

Don't keep them. Just use the save that comes with each update (slot 50) - starts you at the new content.

Which platform are you using? If Android they can't (yet) make a "pre-save".

Don't know what to tell you, maybe download again if you can from a different source (I always use mega or gofile and have never not had a save in slot 50).
