Sorry just my opinion - but don't understand why people tear apart a games engine,art ,time frame, story-line, pace, etc.
If you like it that much that you want it now - learn a little patience, play another, make your own, touch grass. If you don't like the game - express your opinion and move on. You are not going to change the minds of others ... nor they yours - so let it go and find one you like.

Progress Log - 2025/05/04
Good jump this week getting through a chunk of code and a lot of art, I mentioned on discord earlier in the week that this was the biggest event thus far in terms of art for this update so I'm glad I was able to get it done inside a week. Grind doesn't stop so it's on to the next tomorrow, after the stream.
Speaking of stream, we're continuing the Espectra cover tomorrow evening (5PM PST) - maybe getting into some Redraw if time permits - and we got the next teaser of v.07 art coming Wednesday. That's all, folks, have an awesome week and I'll talk to ya soon!

That's not the same as a cell being used for a scene to follow the first time it had been viewed. That's not recycled art, mate. It's simply a scene you're replaying in an effort (or requirement) to progress the story forward. Not the same as reusing a frame of art from a prior scene to illustrate a NEW one at all.
-And I'm not sure the claim that no cell has been reused at all is true, btw. But it IS true that I haven't noticed any that may have been. And come to think of it... that's rather remarkable, given all the content that now exists within the game.
-To further clarify, I know he uses SECTIONS (or overlays) within animations that allow him to only alter certain areas of the overall image while keeping the movement going. But even THAT shit does not get re-used in other scenes.
-In summary, I do believe that Bread draws up each and every new scene (or still) organically, without advantaging prior pieces of art to "cheat" the creation process any (at least when it comes to character and not simply background setting or the like). He's plenty damned prolific at that, actually.
The only piece of 'reused' art I can think of, and only because Bread pointed it out, is the Brandy Blowjob in the College Bathroom. Its a flip of the initial one at MC's parents house where they get disturbed.
Other than that, its pretty much new art for each scene. (backgrounds might be 'reused' due to the wonder of layers).

I just started this, I'm at the Jogger quest log "Complete your first day of school (progress Main Story)".
Does that mean that I have to complete the first school day in order to progress the Main Story or that by doing the Main Story I'll eventually unlock the first day of school? Because the school is closed right now and I don't know if maybe there is a sort of bug/typo or maybe that's the game's way to encourage the player to explore the map and find things until they find the way to unlock the school.

What does your main story quest log say? Do that. The first day of school isn't the first day of the game. You have to do things first.

Ok got it. Progressing in the Main Story will eventually open the school which will allow me to progress with Ms.September. Thanks.

Ngl I know it's unlikely but would love to see Espectra get some type of animation in game. Maybe show it as an exclusive video for her series that never released because it was "x-rated" or something
