Progress Log - 2025/08/24

We are already done with Pre-Production! I had a few scripts completed during .07's dev cycle and this past week I've completed the new busts and sprites needed and have already begun the first animation. We will see how fast I can get through Animation, this is a smaller build but there's still gonna be a good amount of new h-scenes I feel like.

First stream back is tomorrow, 5PM PST, Juggs and Maria doodles - should be fun!

Personally, I think this is a waist of valuable time. For a game development team so small, time matters...

You may be right.... Instead, Breadman perhaps should use that time to spend it with his family and friends as a way to depressurize from daily work.

It's a free game. Whether it takes 4 months, 6 months, 8 months, a year, or longer... It's no skin off our backs.

Even if you add it up... Say 2 hours per week over 26 weeks for schmooze time with fans.... That's only 52 hours... Barely a little more than 1 week's of work. So instead of 26 weeks, you might get it in 25 ... Even if you say 3 hours, it only knocks off 2 weeks... Maybe.

But that face time with fans is invaluable... Both for the dev team and the fans.

Should be fixed in the game files in OP, we had an issue where my backup software interfered with the last patch files when they were deployed but the 07c patch should fix them, for real this time haha

With those 2 weeks, NPC in other buildings could be given new dialogue to the characters you can talk to. All it takes is changing dialogue in the coding. Maybe add a short side-quest that brings the story along? There is a nightclub, but it's never open. Maybe a scene with the MC, Sabrina and Lilith? Nothing has happened yet with the school nurse Kristine Freydotter? Katie Linnet? There are others as well. Maybe I'm in the wrong, but feel in a 1 year span, a lot of non-family characters are left behind so to speak. I still like the game, but updates of late have been more eye-candy, and too much incest(my perception is the incest is overtaking the whole game, when the gist is a scrawny teenager makes a deal with a demoness, gifted a huge cock to impregnate a lot of bangable women). Because of this, it has not brought the story along so well. I know it's an Adult Porn type game, but it's an RPG as well. There is a bit of exploration, but it's become boring and repetitive. Just my opinion, have the family plot every 3rd update.

You know why Kristine/Katie Linnet haven't gone anywhere. They are focus girls, there will be no movement until they win a vote of the subs.
Also, Bread has taken the controversial decision to interact with his fans more than some other creators, and also to have a work/life balance rather than tie himself to the grindstone. Which is all cool and his choice.

Can't really fault your logic on the incest stuff, think that's bound to happen with the fam getting stuff every other update.
I guess he could change tack with how the game is updated, but again, his game, his decision, and he seems to making enough from his subs that they are also happy overall with how the game is progressing.

Also interaction with your fanbase is invaluable for keeping the money coming through the door. Just because he does stuff that isn't directly advancing the build of the game doesn't mean it isn't work for the game. If he lost subs through lack of engagement then the progress would slow down even more as he'd no longer be able to pay any of his team and worse case scenario he'd have to get a regular job to keep a roof over his head. Then those 'extra 2 weeks' would be meaningless
