I would say the game delves into mature themes; for example, Brenda's arc is quite mature. We have the "silly" part where the MC basically teaches her how to date to help her book, but we got something very candid from her inability to trust in a relationship, and even once she almost gave up for the sake of the MC.
The story does have some of that "porn moon logic" that forces the characters into erotic situations but the characters are very grounded, they have their motivations/agenda and a lot of personality. They don't live for the sake of the MC. Even when the MC helps them, he isn't the hero getting all the credit, but someone who supports and aids them in their goals.
