the main change visually was between .05 and .05.5 when I increased the canvas size I was drawing on. Big advice, which I'm an idiot for not doing sooner, is if you're creating the art for your project draw it bigger than you need and then scale it down - that's what comic artists do as well and it really helps things look crisp and gives you more room to add details vs drawing at-scale.No I want to see the evolution of the game version by version. For example there was a big change in style in version 0.3.3
Changes noticed between earlier versions like v.03 through like v.04-5 would prob just be me getting better at RPGM and my animation software and better at drawing in general as I did a shit-ton of it and began to improve quickly. There isn't really a shortcut, in my experience, to getting comfortable in different programs or building a skill, it just takes time and a lot of work.
