I pumped for the release in 5 days (Sarcasm). Jokes aside though I really love this game. I wish I could tip haha, but I unfortunately have no way of doing that as of the moment. I still love it nonetheless and have been hyping it to my friends who also enjoy these type of games.

Im new to this game what do you mean by « bugfixed » ? Is the first release going to be buggy?
The beta will have bugs - that's why it is called a beta. It is released to the subscribers as a perk of seeing the content before the public gets to play for free. The subscribers' playthroughs help the developers identify bugs that should be fixed during the 5 days before the public gets the free final release.

To learn more about beta testing in software development:

So, if you decide to download the beta when it is leaked here - be forewarned, there will be bugs and tech support will be limited because the developers will not be checking this forum during the 5 days of beta testing with the subscribers. The developers will be active in their discord, supporting subscribers and releasing bugfixes.

All that being said - "buggy" is subjective. Will there be bugs? Yes. Will it cause the game to be unplayable? Highly doubtful.

Just remember - just like with the other 11,700-odd games that are not marked "completed" found on this site - these are all games in development and people should save early and save often with a good save-scheme (such as rotating through 3-5 save slots) while playing in case they run into any bugs they can't clear. In fact, that is the way anyone should play any game here, on Steam, GOG, Epic, whatever - even if marked "completed." Things happen and save slots are there for a reason. Use them. The developers of this game automatically open the save prompt every morning the main character wakes up - if you don't use that opportunity to save progress, that's on you.

the main change visually was between .05 and .05.5 when I increased the canvas size I was drawing on. Big advice, which I'm an idiot for not doing sooner, is if you're creating the art for your project draw it bigger than you need and then scale it down - that's what comic artists do as well and it really helps things look crisp and gives you more room to add details vs drawing at-scale.

Changes noticed between earlier versions like v.03 through like v.04-5 would prob just be me getting better at RPGM and my animation software and better at drawing in general as I did a shit-ton of it and began to improve quickly. There isn't really a shortcut, in my experience, to getting comfortable in different programs or building a skill, it just takes time and a lot of work.

Good luck with your project, if it's in the same vein as DD feel free to ask advice or share your work on our discord, we have channels dedicated to other artists sharing their stuff or getting constructive critique
Hey i wanted to ask if in the future will you add another artist in this beautiful project?
to speed up the updates or double the content in each update
i know is not a easy task to do, but i had to ask!
also AI are very advanced now(grok, chatgpt , etc), they can help you with coding perhaps in rpg maker, did you looked into it?

Don't forget our heroes who come at first light and bring a version for patreon
Nope, better to wait for the more polished public version. And even better actually the bugfixed version some time after. 'Heroes' sure isn't the word I'd use to describe these morons.

Edit: Sorry, just refer to the way more elaborate post by Count Morado two posts above mine. :>

Vibecoding (Coding with AI) is proven to actually take more time, not less.
It also fundamentally doesn't make much sense, the time consuming parts of coding is testing and coming up with how to do something. Writing down the code isn't that complicated. Testing you're gonna have to do either way. And if you already know how you want to do something we'll enough to describe it to an AI, then you might as well just write it down yourself. AI saves a few minutes at best and introduces way higher risk of problems that require extensive testing.

I’m glad you like the game, but I think Breadman Games are fine with how things are right now. Additional team members raise effectiveness but decrease efficiency. I assume they have found their balance for now.

Sadly LLMs produce code of unreliable quality, and image generators are incapable of sensible image composition. Usually their output could qualify for background imagery use at best. Breadman has also asked us not to feed his art to AI-corporations.

So right now the best thing you can do to help is to pay them for their work, IMHO.

The main character syndrome hit pretty hard on that one...
