It would be really nice to be able to save during "cutscenes" so that you don't have to either start over or wait until the end if you finish in the middle of one since they're often so long.

Yeah probably, but the dev could put some more breaks in those segments. Sometimes you get these sequences that seem to go on forever that are essentially one giant kinetic novel.
