Bread has been transparent with his love for Sofia and how much he wants to do her story since at Least before 0.5

Even including the various Sofia Easter eggs included in each update. So whilst it wasn't subtle, its not like it was new or a game changer or anything. If anything Amira's sudden popularity was a swing with the masses, given that Yumi and I think Mae beat her out in previous bracket votes. (and Brenda obviously)

She might make an appearance with Jon or as Faust as we will see the Hospital with Dr Maria, but I doubt we will see anything substansive
