Overview:
I died and was reincarnated into a - wait no...

Demon Gods is about a woman (or man, or ...something else) who is isekai'd to another world and forced to learn to live as a Succubus and cope with her new instincts and desires. It is a smut game but has a focus on story and lore. I hope you enjoy it!

I'd be slightly (slightly) more OK with AI art if people put a tiny bit of effort into cleaning it up after the AI spits out some AI bullshit. Like, look at that office pic in the OP. Half the stuff on the desks is just nonsense shapes. The "computers" are basically just empty picture frames. The right window has a divider that merges into the cityscape and disappears. These things are fixable, but no one ever fucking does.

If you're gonna accept money for this AI crap, you should at least touch it with your human hands at least that little bit, so you can say some personal expression went into it and you're not wholly recycling other people's work.

Some devs do, and it's a shame that they'll inevitably get filtered out because people don't want to deal with the ones who just use whatever the AI puts out. Like how hiring actual models for your game would get you lumped together into the "real porn" pile.


Anywho, what sort of mind control is in this game, and how prominent is it?

For what it's worth, I did hire an artist. 3 months after I paid her, she provided 0 art. So I let her keep the money and switched to AI + photoshop.

That said, while I don't call myself an artist by any means (I am married to one though), I do heavily edit my images and sometimes redraw portions of an image (hands for example). The current free version has some unedited images, but the newest update has significant edited art. Honestly, there are almost no images that I haven't edited or redrew portions of.

I get what you're saying. Feel free to wait 2 more weeks for me to put the updated version up on my site so you can check it out for free. You'll see my images have been heavily photoshopped.
Here's a quick before / after. First image is AI, second image is after I finished editing. Even bought a graphics tablet to help me re-draw hands / etc.

All of my free time for the last two months has been dedicated to coding or digital editing.

Version 0.36 has an old anime model that I've already forgotten, for stable diffusion.
My new model used in 0.38 is a custom model I made that has better looking images, but I still need to edit and fix a lot in nearly every single image.

With the exception of slimes, I was able to slack off a bit on editing them because...well they're slimes.

Mind control is very minor at the moment. I plan to do more with the charm skill in the future. For the most part it will be along the lines of manipulating conversations, and perhaps persuading them into sexual acts.

0.36 was more about having the frame-work / first arc completed.
0.38 expands upon that.

My next update will be continuing the story further and starting on the next area. I'm also not sure if I'll keep the map system (awful grid layout aside), programming it was a nightmare and I've found if you move through the spaces too quickly, it can occasionally glitch and not update the variable properly. For future area's, I may just get rid of the map entirely and handle the adventuring differently.

So, is there a preferred brower for this? Because I am getting a lot of broken images not popping up. Don't know if the transition stuff is done or not with the AI.

Broken images was because I wrote the code before doing the images. It was intended as a placeholder, but admittedly not a great idea since it caused a lot of confusion. I've fixed all that in my next update since I've replaced almost all the images with higher quality ones and filled all the placeholders I had written. Sorry about that, give it two weeks and I'll update the version on my website to the improved one. Or in one month I'll update the links here with version 0.38
