i got only the essence of fire from Nar the Riddler in the burning trail, but not the advanced tome of fire.
How do i open the effing Barrier?
The option to use magic against the barrier is intended to throw you off. You need the 4 different essences, 1 for each path.
If you're still unable to get through the barrier, you're missing one essence (Didn't I add some text on that page to tell you which one you're missing? Pretty sure I did.)
gb - genderbent character (male transformed to female).
Didn't seen and answer to how rise acceptance level.
Sorry about that, acceptance is raised automatically through any sexual action. So whether you're screwing monsters/bandits in the forest, mountains, or brothel in town. Additionally if you fail to pay taxes, you'll be sent to work in a gloryhole for a week which should raise your acceptance a bit more.
First off I got to say, I liked the succubus lore to the game.
♥
Gonna have to break the rest of your post into pieces to respond, haha.
There is a little lore in the game where they compared to others demons as the weaker kind, and thats normal for succubus, they are kinda on the lower tier.. But there might actually be some hidden potential behind them through the lore of the game.
A lot of the Succubi lore is explained in the tomes, make sure you read those when you're attempting to learn new magic!
It explains why Succubi are supposed to be weak. It also kinda explains why the MC grows in strength so quickly, but I was intentionally vague there. I'm not ready to spoil that yet.
The look on her face once we grew demon features in such a short time, loosing control of her brothel manager. Entertaining stuff.
Rhelyla is one of the stronger Succubi, but she's still pretty weak compared to other demons (in terms of lore). But Succubi are hated due to reasons that Rhelyla explains.
Just want to say, keep up the fun stuff with this. As a monster girl enthusiast. I like it. I have some theory and questions with the spider girl, but Ill talk about that later. As well as a few other characters for later. Dont want to make this post too big yet.
It brings me great joy to read people's theories and predictions. I may not answer you, but feel free to reach out on the discord, or send me a private message here with your theory.
You're also welcome to post it here but make sure you use spoiler tags. I probably won't answer unless it's something harmless to the story.
I'd like to think hes come to apricated another shot at living, even if not in the most ideal of lives he wanted. But that would be soon forgotten the more he adapts and reaches higher power. Something more than he was as lowly human on earth. Hes fighting with the big demons now ^_~.
Initially I had wanted to leave the main characters opinions empty so that the player can fill in those opinions. But in order to tell a coherent story, I found that very difficult.
I'm not saying it's not possible, but I'm not very good at it. I LOVE games that let you customize your own characters, but I found that a lot of them suffer from having a likeable main character due to allowing the player to insert themselves in the main character shoes. Which unfortunately often results in a silent protagonist who's more of a spectator than a contributor.
This is something I hate, as I'd rather have a great story. In the future I'll probably write games in 3rd person, writing in 2nd person has come with challenges and I find myself much more comfortable with 3rd person.
Thus I going to have the MC return.
If you just want to create a back-up save, the "stay" choices lead to endings. I won't be writing a significant amount of content for this arc, it was only intended as a detour to deepen the mystery of
My bad, this is Patron only at the moment. These scenes will become free on 02/03.
I'd like to think he only returned to earth in accident because of his desire in wanting to see his friends for the last time.
Nah, the witch explains why. Has nothing to do with his/her desire.
maybe he could grab a few things, like a console and set them up in silent city
.
Or perhaps Azrael / Rhelyla did exactly that.
We now go Yuki, Eylsia, Pat and probably Azarel waiting back there too.
Pat was intended as a gag character for patron's who wanted to cheat. People kept complaining that I was locking scenes behind a paywall which was never my intention, nor would I really consider them actual scenes, so I decided to make him free.
I DID end up losing 50 patrons after this, so that might have been a bad idea, but it's also possible that people left due to the holidays.
I have considered ways to add Pat as a canon character, but have made no decisions regarding that as of yet.
But on the topic of Rheyla, I've very much liked how they have become so close. My original decision to kill for her, was cause she had helped us alot when she didnt have too,
Poor Rhe...
At the same time I wanted to get the MC into the killing mindset. Hope theres alot more fun events to come with her in chapter 3.
I have been trying to write a lot more scenes with corruption in mind. I have been and will periodically go back and edit dialogue and scenes regarding the players corruption level though. One of the first major corruption-related events is coming up pretty soon. Probably still 2 or 3 updates away, though.
But thats my thoughts on chapter 3, and the MCs predicament. Just thought I could give my opinion/feelings as chapter 3 still looks a little incomplete and maybe a reference how one person looks at the story.
I sincerely appreciate it! I love reading reviews! I will sometimes google my game and read the reviews on various sites that stole my game.
Though I've only responded to reviews on a couple of them.
That said, the arc you're referring to is only the first half of chapter 3, and it is "done" as of the current patreon update / upcoming free update on 02/03.
Quotes are there because I was convinced by someone who wants to add some of their own scenes to the chapter. It took a lot of convincing, but they write some pretty good quality scenes.
Lastly the part with Derek had me laughing in tears. Dam that was so great, its sad to kinda see it end. Tho I have to ask, it said I didnt have one option cause I wasnt corrupt enough ?
Corruption == bad morals.
Honestly, it was a mistake for me to use corruption for both the 'taint' or what causes corrupted monsters like Squiks, as well as the main characters morality. I might go back and fix that at some point.
What does this mean. Making him worship you with burning dsire for the rest of his life was amusing enough. Truely demonlike, a testimate to the MCs development and adaption .
There are a few ways to handle Derek.
1.
2.
3.
4. A bittersweet goodbye.
Options 1 and 2 require 20 corruption, which should be fairly easy to get by the time you reach chapter 3.
Also I love TFs and TF other too, so was good to see that in there. Still curious to how demon god corruption changes people. Straight forward with the Arlunes I guess, but what about people ?
I love psychological stuff, so writing gender bender has been pretty fun. Writing low morality / corruption scenes has been pretty fun too. Now that we're a bit over half-way through the game, I can start writing more meaningful evil scenes.
