Not really, but you'll know who's who and there are references to it. Also if I recall the leveling system is explained rather in-depth in the prequel compared to the this one.

I'm going to go ahead and guess the Pregnancy mechanic is the same as the last game, aka the fairly specific "Only if you get defeated by vaginal battle fuck, not during it, by it".

There is a guaranteed pregnancy and birth event. But it's not a core mechanic.

I think this is a complaint I had for the prequel as there was no visual changes whenever you stats changed.
