I finally started demon roots after playing King Exit earlier this year, I bought the steam version (aka no NG+) so why when I started the game did I get all this stuff in my inventory lol

The game is great, saddly I can't talk about it with my usual friends.
19+ hours in and still on chapter 2 because i love grinding and diddling every tile in the game for secrets. I noticed how the boss that beats the shit out of Clara and Mebius is kinda undefeatable. I survived the final attack with lots of hp to spare because I'm too overleveled. And the game no selled my effort by reducing my hp to zero anyways. Like how!? Is this a scripted loss? But I don't want Remnant Clara ending up crippled and bedridden.
Ohh, that scene. Despite being a porn rpgmaker game, it's quite good at making you care for the characters.
I think about this sometimes too. I love this game's story and characters almost more than any other game. But I unfortunately will always have to worry about people demonizing me for liking it

If i remember correctly, the locked door is the manager's office.
You need the other door, where the clothing store is. It's next to the item store.
There's a patch for this game in Portuguese. From what I get people in Brazil can't buy it from dlsite when I looked at that page in Google Translate.

No, it's better to use a save file before the final battle and the save file before the point of no return.
Your game clear bonus is saved in a global save file. This means that once you clear the game, all your saves will have the game clear bonus which means that you can access the ng+ story dungeon (It's in Polca's mansion. Makes more sense if you have played King Exit, but it's still fine if you didn't), the dev hidden room in the monkey land, Diana final weapon (you can buy it in Bohelos market) and fight the extra bosses (one in the arena and the other is the final boss whom you can buff).
You will miss some of the equipment that you can only get after the point of no return, but those are not necessary to clear the ng+ content.
I had fun managing to win against the Gon and Shark super bosses before the end of chapter 4 of my first playthrough when my characters were a little over level 50. I used Ange + Diana + Lily where I had Lily and Diana apply DoT whenever they could and Ange protect the team since even though my units' damage tickled the bosses, the DoT applied damage off their max HP lol
But I had to get lucky for Ange to use her storm skill the turn the bosses used their strongest attack, for stuff like Gon to not spam tread over and over, and for the rng of applying the bleed/poison/burn to work. Too bad I can't use the same strategy on the Mark 6 robot since I don't think DoT work on it plus it moves way too fast it just instantly photon wipes my team.

I cant get rid of the 3 debuffs getting from Plana kingdom (i think i got it from getting the green/red/blue water pots). Is there any way to get rid of them or are they permanent debuffs ? Really confusing
You mean, the debuffs stay with you even after you leave the arena and move on to the next stage?
