im not go lie on this but only porn game rate this got a really good story for it. most developer just make about sex and have very shitty story and not really likeable character, short i kind hope makes a sequel out of this
A fantastic game with a great storyline. The characters are quite fun and the action and mystery element keeps it interesting. Also seeing the evolution of the animations is quite interesting as it shows how much the developer has improved over the course of time. His next game is also pretty epic.
Good story (how rare) that could stand on its own without the sex-scenes. I really enjoyed how commited it was to being a good Noir.
Choices do matter, you don't feel tricked on a second playthrough.
No grinding, mature characters, multiple endings... the best I have played yet on this site... and COMPLETE!!!!

Just amazing
the story is beautiful, surprising, i couldnt imagine having fun on a visual novel "it's not my kind of games" but this story is realy exciting, hangs the players
the graphics are very pretty and the girls are very interesting and makes you want to replay to find another route with each of them
The scenes are decent and overarching story is likeable. The different choices are not always the most obvious, but there is a minimenu to show whether you made the right decisions for each route. There is also different story routes that you could go through based on decisions made which I really think is the strong point since it flows well in the story.
One of the best VN that I had the pleasure to enjoy. I recommend everyone to take a chance. The plot is the big deal for me at least, but the renderings, soundtracks and the amount of content that the game give to us is something that i haven't seen a bit even on films lately... I haven't got any issues with the grammar and the performance on my PC was really good.
This is one of the best games i have played. Its the perfect combination of scenes we come here for and the storyline. Its absolutely gripping and amazing.
Would really recommend anybody to see this. Please do see the genres so if you are not okay with something you might not like it. But damn this is an amazing game with an amazing story.
[EDIT] second going at this review. I was a little disappointed the first time I played the game, and left a mixed review for it. A year later, I gave it another go, less trying to find what I was looking for in it, and more giving it the opportunity to convince me about what the dev wanted to say.
So, I found the experience really enjoyable. Actually it has some great plot points, and what felt to me like forced before makes much more sense when you try to understand more the world in which the story happens.
All in all, I think it's a really great, dark and gloomy one, that you should try with an open mind. Enjoy!
This game deserves every bit of fame it receives. The plot is just on another level considering it's a Ren'Py game, it's a cinematic experience. Detailed character development with tons of choices at almost every point in the plot, no matter how small the choice but it made some impact on the plot and appreciate how the devs managed to capture the choice based changes accordingly in the subsequent renders.

This game has some twisted story to tell. I found it very immersing. it is great to see games that are not just some fuckfest, games that provide a background to characters and a good reading. Here's why:
Amazing characters, when it comes to personality, background, story and looks for 3DCG, this is the best I've seen to this day (02/22/19)! But I have to swim against the mainstream; I never really cared for or about Stella, to me she is just a story device. She's dead, yes, but so are other characters (Patrick and Dragon). I didn't really care. She is like a mix of every other character, red hair from Christina and age from Carli, with a body that's the median/average out of all the other available girls. Mi-Do as well as Carli aren't really my cup(s) of tea. I loved Christina and Judy, though.
As soon as I saw her in the header, I knew Christina was going to be my favourite, but Judy blew her out of the water at the end. There are probably other games with longer animations, but this one is filled with different angles, choices and writing to make up for that IN A LANDSLIDE. Seriously, bravo to PhillyGames again. Thanks again to zer0sh0t for saving countless of hours of my time with his walkthrough.
For me it's the best one out there, so many choices and girls. The 3D models for the girls are pretty good and story is great. The story for itself is really intense and you can also feel connected to the characters. As it is now it has multiple endings. Maybe to much bad endings but that is my opinion.
Excellent game. This is the first time I got engaged with a story in an adult game. Renders are great, good diversity of characters as well as personalities and I loved the noir vibe in the game. A definite 5 stars for me!
I'm a sucker for any game that focuses as heavy on the story as it does on the sex scenes. As someone who loves a good crime drama, this is definitely in the top tier for me. It's dark and brutal at times, so don't go expecting a purely happy story. I just wish it was longer
Depraved Awakening has a lot going for it:
The film noir setting, taking on the role of a private eye, snooping around a vibrant city, an engaging crime story, interesting characters, beautiful women (although in my opinion some are also quite ugly), temptations, sex...
The story was a bit all over the place and sometimes difficult to follow, but it could still have been a 4 star game.
What I didn't like (and made me stop playing) was being forced into lewd scenes with characters I didn't feel attracted to - that's usually a mood killer for me.
I enjoyed this game so much that I started to learn Ren'Py code just to figure out how to unlock everything. I highly recommend this game and look forward to the next one this creator makes. I'm usually not a big fan of these kind of visuals as I've noticed that other games tend to have extremely similar models but it was refreshing to see the variety of new models and art in a visual novel!

This game is something else. It has a very mysterious vibe with lots of characters, investigation and is making you think very carefully about you next choise. So be careful and choose wisely! Recommended

Great graphics (models are excelent) , great story (deep and simple in same time ,have good noir feeling) and great endings! would change few things but thats personal taste, all in all pure 5 star!
