What I like about this game is the fast Pace and that the girl will do almost anything to go up the ladder,also I love the Taste of Netorare and cheating elements in the Game,its been awhile since a good game like this came out,was starting to get boring here lately (No offense).
Hoping of seeing more.

With the amount of whiny reviews you'd expect this game to be pretty terrible, I actually found it to be a decently enjoyable corruption game. Yeah, it deals in plenty of familiar tropes, but that's fine. This isn't supposed to be Shakespeare, it's a game where you press button to try to make the pretty lady become a slut, or an upstanding lawyer, whatever floats your boat.

The renders are somewhat inconsistent. Some characters seem like they had way more work put into them than others. The actual scenes that are rendered and not just characters pasted in front of low quality backgrounds look surprisingly good, great even in terms of posing and shot composition. I feel the game could have been a lot better if more work had gone into making more renders instead of having so many "two character pngs talk in front of a low resolution image" sequences.

The plot is fairly predictable but the writing is decent and even hot during some of the sex scenes. The rare element of lezdom elevated the game above mediocrity for me, I really enjoyed the scenes with Eve.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on v0.7...

I feel like I've been here before, yet another VN/Game in the same vein as other VN's I've read and seen before in the same exact category... Just with a new face lift and separate backdrop... But yet almost the same cliché characters...

The visuals of the character models are decent, but most of the backdrops are either the same or almost carbon copies of ones I've seen in lots of other VN/Games already... Very over used... The use of zoom in/out and some camera panning was good, and not seen often outside of Japanese Hentai VN's... I never ran across any actual animations...

The script is mostly fine, with only some spelling and/or grammar errors... The plot on the other hand was not so original, and that includes how some of the characters are used as well... This is a typical corruption story, about an Intern (this time at a law firm) who is trying just to do her job... But everything and everyone around her is conspired together to make her life difficult, and like the title says, help in her Descent from being a normal woman to being just some thing for the sexual amusement of all around her...

I am reminded of so many things I've already seen in other VN/Games already... Once again we have pretty much the same exact graphic version of a heart symbol on the screen to represent her corruption level and in this case a briefcase to represent her work performance level (aka the measure of right choices to make the main story progress)… The same loser boyfriend, who is just some lazy person, draining away her money, just like in a couple other games I've seen... The secretary who is a primary catalyst in aiding her eventual corruption, doing almost the same things as in the other games... Like being her friend who's only trying to help her fit in, right!? This time though we have an Eric (I despise these Eric like characters that are so cliché and overused - and why is he always named Eric?) and the perverted IT guy... Then we have the dominatrix college teenager who pretty much date rapes the female protagonist, on more then one occasion... First by slipping her a date rape drug (only if you don't get her completely wasted on whiskey), and then getting her drunk again for an orgy where she is then determined to be the teenagers sex toy, barely any lead up to that...

I wouldn't be so bitter, if it wasn't for the fact that I felt like I already knew half of what was going to happen already... Just with a few different twists... And no matter the choices, there is no positive outcome for her... She's pretty much screwed over. no matter what choice you go with... You decide to report Eric, he gets away with it and she gets messed over... You decide to stick up for yourself against the blackmailing IT perv, you get blackmailed again... You decide to go with wine instead of the whiskey, you get drugged and she gets the tattoo and date raped regardless... You decide to not drink so much at the college dorm room, she gets completely drunk anyway, then partakes in the orgy, and is treated like a thing (rather then a person, and she becomes the teenagers personal sex toy) regardless of choice... What choice is there really? Through the whole thing, the only real choice there really is, is what level of being screwed over do you want, and in some cases, the end result is the same, regardless of the choice... So why was there a choice?

Anyhoo… The story isn't all that deep and meaningful anyway... Because this is more like a quick romp from one scenario to another... There a small bit of dialogue, monologue, along with a tiny bit of story here and there, but it's mostly just used as filler to lead into the next moment of either a choice that makes no real difference, or a situation that might have been sexy, but instead was full of debauchery and maybe a tiny smidgen of sadism, against the protagonist...

Do these developers just hate women and want to make stories where women are just totally screwed over at every turn? Of all the ways to go about a female protagonist corruption story, this is in, no way, one how I envision it really happening... Especially with a supposed Big Name Law Firm, in this day and age... And I understand this is just some fantasy setup, but it's so cliché and has been done to death already...

And I almost forgot the inclusion of a Dead End in the content, if you keep resisting the developers choices to willingly go along with all the attempts at corruption... In a way, that is the only moment where there is a semi--positive outcome... She gets fired and no longer has to put up with their crap... But that ends the VN/Game way too soon, and I hate punishment endings in these things... You are basically telling the player/reader, you have choice but only if you play along with what they want to show you... If you decide to go your own way, you may just get punished with a dead end...

Overall, I was disappointed in how this VN/Game is turning out, and how one to one similar it is to several other VN/Games that have already completed their run with this or are still in development... It's not a direct copy cat, but it is so much either inspired by or following the foot steps of several others I've seen... This is in essence a harsh corruption story, where the female protagonist is manipulated and used by most of the characters around her... No one has her best interests at heart... It is true to it's title, an uncontrollable descent of a woman at no fault of her own... The few visual stuff I mentioned are the only plus for this one... I felt dirty just playing this VN/Game as long as I did, but I was hoping it would make a different turn from the others, or get better as I went along, but it only got worse... And at a faster pace then the others I already mentioned... I will not be revisiting this one...

Watching 2 or more models in rank and file talking to each other won't create the atmosphere I need when it comes to immersion. I know, there is almost always no 1st person view in games about female protagonists but we have seen 3rd person views working pretty well! However, in this case I felt cut out right from the start. Thus I got immediately used to the skip button, I'm sorry! If there was a good story to be told (v0.6) I didn't catch it properly.

So Basically if you don't go with the choice the dev wants it's game over lol, Another "cliche" game. The models look nice but that's it. The dev tells you it's up to you but if I pick a different route it's over...

I really enjoyed the overarching plot and twists in this game, as it encompasses all the classic elements of a good story. Although the standalone routes weren’t by any means remarkable, they were great at building suspense and a sense of urgency to figure out the pieces of the puzzle in order to solve the mystery. The universe of this games grows increasingly more complex and interesting the further you delve into the storyline. This demonstrates solid world-building and good storyline pacing by the writers.

Well plotted corruption and blackmail that is opening up the hardcore. Well drawn female protagonist trying to move up in a competitive law firm giving in to temptations and pressures in her life. Author seems tofavor shorter but more frequent updates. Good manipulation by other characters advancing her descent.

a well paced corruption game renders are good enough and well to be honest can't expect way too much from this game other than being average or above average overall it fun and all but not addictive lets see if its turns into a fine wine or not

Sure, the renders are not top-notch and the background is very static, BUT I have to give 5 stars here. Why? The updates come really quick so far and the story and plot development is absolutely entertaining. So, I am curious where this is going. Keep up that good work, it really is enjoyable to play!

Another cliche "poor thing needs job and needs to be used and abused there" game.
Some of the models in game looks nice, although overal quality of renders could be better.
Writting and storyline should be much better. There are things which defile common sense, even for a porn game.
If you look for game where player actually have some impact on story(beside getting G.Over), than stay away from this. This is not one of those. All you can do here is to blindly follow dev's fetishes and desires or to get "Game Over" after refusing first of those.
Either you'll submit MC to creeps or you'll get "Game Over". As dev said - It's up to you. Lol.

Pretty decent first release. Game has everything to encourage you to check it again for future chapters. There's introduction, prologue and first act.
First important thing you see when you start the game is - 'Descent [ver0.2] i not a sandbox game, is a cross between a game and an interactive novel.' For me personaly, it's the best kind of game style. No walking around, no grinding, just the story. And story is really enjoyable. Big respect and my congratulations for Developer for writing skills. That's one of better written stories. Not something amazing, but just really good. It even has narration - something I belive all stories need but many people forget about (third-person narrative mode )
Main character struggles with some moral decisions already in first act. Are you gonna end up as females Saul Goodman? Or you wanna keep your morality intact?
Renders\models are okay. Visually it reminds me of one very famous game from here (I'm sure you will find out which game I'm talking about).

Cons: I understand that every actions has consequences - that's a good thing. But I hope my character not gonna end up as someones fuck toy only because I've made some immoral decisions. There should be option to be unmoral and not being forced to sex (SPOILER- there is one sex scene at the end of content: blackmail and handjob - I didn't liked it).
I also hope there will be some lesbian content in future updates. There is no good Female protag game without lesbian stuff.
