I really like the latex!

But what irks me about this game is that there are no real choices. Every decision railroads you into some form of being turned into a slave.

Find a clever way to become a dominant slave mistress in a sexy latex outfit yourself? Nope. Turn into a freedom fighter who liberates the slaves and tries to overturn the status quo? Forget it. Repair your ship and escape this hellhole? Heck no. Get a job as a warden or trainer (sort of a BDSM switch thing where you still have to submit to a mistress but can be dominant towards the slaves)? Also not an option.

If you like games that only give you bad ends and the most choice you have is what bad end, then this is for you!

Is there anyone who enjoyed it? :D Sometimes I read a comment that indicates that there are people who like my content. But 99% it's just someone detailing how garbage it is so I don't really know.

I just wanted to make a public update because my Patreon got deleted, and I wanted to give something to folks so they would know that I'm alive and making content. I also remade the introduction with 4k renders and introduced these bad mechanics and the tiles to explore. But my bad obviously. I've been posting on f95zone for 1.5 years now and virtually all I have is people detailing how garbage my content is. I acknowledge that I was a moron for expecting anything else.

I should really stop publishing my work. If you publish you get yelled at. if you don't publish you don't get yelled at. It's that simple. So I won't publish and I won't get yelled at.

I like several of your games!
Of course, it would be even more interesting if you could add a plot where the protagonist successfully resists or defeats the enemies.

I'm glad that at least one person on the planet likes something I made. I pretty much hit rock bottom as game development goes. My Patreon was deleted and so far the revenue of my SubscribeStar is roughly 20% of what it used to be. On top of it I needed to have a surgery because of my leg so I'm even shorter on money IRL than I usually am. This means that the games that people really want to see continued will not get continued anytime soon. While the games that people don't want see, like this one, is virtually the only thing that can continue.

I don't really know what to do in terms of publishment, not with this game, nor other titles that are designed to be cost effective. My more successful titles have plenty of haters, and with this one it's just people yelling at you. I honestly think I should stop publishing at this point. I already thought about it several times. It is designed to be cost effective therefore I can 100% finish it. And this way you have one big yelling session instead of several smaller ones that keep dragging on.

Personally, I think saving at 2K quality is enough. For someone like me, at least, the detail of 4K is barely noticeable.

Then there's the added option of adding more options. Like I suggested in my previous post, could there be some storylines where the heroine can fight back, or even defeat and retaliate against the evildoers?

Also, you could introduce some AI features, like using your current image as a base for a derivative, or adding dynamic images (using AI would be much easier and faster). As long as this is explained upfront, I think other than those nitpickers who are just arguing for the sake of opposing, other players probably won't mind too much. After all, the purpose of playing this kind of game is to make yourself more enjoyable, not to make you feel more frustrated!

Finally, there's the core concept of bondage, tights, and latex. I'm a huge fan of this (not for myself, but for seeing beautiful women being treated this way). Further development of this aspect would be even better!

I want to have it 4k, especially because you might want to enlarge the spicy ones.

At the moment I have a conflict between development philosophies. Originally this was a CHYOA with the purpose of each storyline becoming a story of its own. Later on I realized this is not feasible to do and I started to center everything into one gameplay loop as other devs do it like Darktoz. What I want is to have a process of descent where if you go too dep you end up as a slave, but if you stay out, then you will have a good ending. So basically there will be a way to win. But if you are asking about the slave paths, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to escape from those. We will see as the game progresses.

I'm not sure what you mean. Working with the AI was very time consuming for me, each of the good images, like the Elena one for The Zeta Sector took hours to make, with heavy photoshop work involved. At the moment I have an 5070ti and it makes 4k renders in 60 seconds. This way working with daz seems better for me.

There will be more obviously. As I wrote earlier, I want this process of descent, where you are ballgagged, so you can't speak, but you can still fight. Or you have mittens, so you can't carry items, but you can still punch. So there will be everything from the things that can be bought as far as my budget goes.

That sounds amazing! Especially those last few content plans you wrote! I'm eagerly anticipating the completion of all your works!

Unwinnable games do often frustrate people. Remember WOPR from the movie "WarGames"? It came to a similar conclusion: "The only winning move is not to play."

But I would also consider that most people probably wouldn't bother with any kind of feedback if they saw nothing of value in the game. If they take the time to complain then they probably have some form of emotional investment. You already have to be doing something right, or folks would just ignore you and go on with their lives.

The way I see it (take it for what you've paid for it): Ultimately, the point of fetish games like this is to unlock the sexy fetish scenes. But if you have to lose in order to get the content you bought the game for in the first place, and the only way to keep playing is to avoid the content, then the game defeats its own purpose.

And if you look around for other games with latex fetish content (like from Darktoz or Scriptor), they all make this mistake. At least, I believe it's a mistake (remember, I'm only speaking for myself here, and what do I know?). So from a purely economic point of view: If you want your game to stand out and have a unique advantage over the competition, it might not be a bad idea to try a different route. Hence, I'd personally make so that unlocking the content advances the game rather than bringing it to a halt.

Just my 2 cents.

I wish you a speedy recovery, and take care of yourself. This is just the internet after all. Don't take it to heart.

I appreciate the feedback. On the other hand the difference seems so vast. At the moment my SubscribeStar revenue is $52 before taxes (I have a new subsriber, yay!), in the meantime the devs who are recommended to me are making thousands. So you have a mission impossible type of feeling, in the meantime people are tearing apart everything.

It's difficult to piece it together honestly, what makes a title worth a hundred times more than yours. Sure you can recognize the graphic assets in the daz store and try to mimic what these games do, but there is still an aspect about it that's unreal.

I have this conflict of design philosophy that I mentioned during a previous comment. This way I have a bunch of bad end scenarios but the games around them barely started to take shape. I have a budget/time issue because it takes a lot of time to make ai images, so you would rather make renders, but the daz store is an expensive place. This way I have entire titles that I can't cover graphically and everybody wants them to continue. It's difficult to pinpoint where to even go from here, because everyone wants the old games finished, but in reality your time/money problem restricts the development. Other titles like this one and a planned one that is about slave training are more promising because they are designed around the time/money problem. But a lot of people will be pissed as a consequence.

Thanks! Hopefully I will recover soon and won't have to stay with a relative very long :D

I feel bad that you're getting a harsh reception here. I think your games have a lot of potential, and your themes and premises are really solid foundations to build off of. The gameplay loop you introduced is definitely harsh, but the quality of your writing is good.

It sounds like you're having a rough time of late. I'm sorry your Patreon got deleted, too. It's not a great time overall for adult game developers and I'm sorry you're getting caught up in that too.

Thanks! Honestly what gets me is what could I do that could produce a vastly different result. I keep checking accounts that have no release for over a year or more, and they still have more money going through them. In the meantime I work on the games almost every day. Some people recommend a different engine. One game instead of multiple games. A different approach to make these games. But realistically what could be done? I mean, this might sound a bit greedy (but I've been spending 10% of my salary for 1.5 years now, I spent $1650 on a new PC a few weeks ago, I had an expensive surgery + I will have two months where I get partial payment from the workplace), but I should just swap to Ren'Py and I would already make $500? The difference is so unreal between me and other developers. That's why I keep telling that I would stop publishing except when completed. I enjoy making these games, but as far as the money goes, everything tells me I'm just not one of those people.

Geez, you're raking it in, dude! ;)

Maybe time is a factor. If the other developers are there longer, it stands to reason they've already build a larger following. My guess is that at one point in time, they also only made 50 bucks.

With subscription based revenue streams, the general consensus seems to be that the only real way to grow is to reliably put out the content. Pick a schedule, then stick to it. If you want regular payments, you've gotta give regular updates. JFTR: I don't make the rules, so don't shoot the messenger.
