Let's hope for the best, my guess would be that MC has to do some "convincing" work with Doc, Water suplier, the girl from the trailer, and brig them toghether with the Raiders, plus keeping peace with the Sehkmet legion (or go to war, not shure about that)

He is in both paths Bridge decor, it is only about how you handle the Mutatgirl, I have a hunch that treating her nicely is better, she seems to have the power of enchanting those she is around or look into their eyes, i could be wrong of course.

If you are into exploring, just make a save before and see that path it is not soo brutal and my impresion was she even liked it a bit the Raider Girls loved it at least!
