The reason is probably a different version of the game and the mod. The game is 0.16 beta and the mod is 0.15 c.

Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love this game, and i think it's actually the best western VN made so far, even if there is a preciuos few well deserving competitors. And i think it should be regarded a lot more than some popular college freshman's experiences...

But honestly, what is the main plot of this game? Where is the story going if anywere at all?

Ok, there is lor Abraxo up to something, somewhere... sometimes?

There is a shining high tech thinghy that will mean something... eventually?

But so far the story is mostly random events to build up the main factions of the story (and what events! I loved every second) and the story is not really moving at all yet.

It has been several years so far.

i start to wonder if this game or even the genre will grow too old before it can actually even forsee its completition.
