To be fair, the mod for the 0.16b version was released a whole month ago. This time Zetan took a very sweet time to release a "c" version of Desert Stalker (it wasn't even planed at first).
Just be patient, there aren't a lot of changes in the game, mostly small bugfixes, so the update should be easy and fast once the dev finishes his queue...

Dude, it's just a bugfix update. They don't even have to add anything new, just make it compatible with a patch.

Thanks for the info.
Man I've been wanting to replay this for some time now, but still no updated walk through has been released yet. As this title plays so much better with a functioning wt mod, thus avoiding potential missed content or getting non desired story outcomes.
I sure hope an update happens soon.

Then you should maybe wait for the next game update. Zetan plans to rerender all the earlier chapters for the next update. There are a couple of new rerenders already in this update and they look amazing.

No it wont. You will overwrite the script files which contains the changes of the 16c version with the ones modded with the 16b content.
At best, you will end up "downgrading" your installation to the older 16b. At worst, something might mess up with the resources and make the game crash, or even worse, corrupting your save file.

How long do u guys think it's gonna be for an updated version? Just found out about this game and am pretty excited to try it out! Getting a little impatient waiting for the mod tho since I won't have a lot of free time

No one really knows. If you are very pressed for time, download and play the 0.16b version of the game, the difference is not huge. It is compatible with the current add-on build. You can always upgrade it later when this add-on is updated.

Anyone knows modder knows the game got update or not? I don't saw anyone tag modder in the post, so maybe he don't knows and we are waiting for no reason?

AdanGC Mods usually knows when there is an update. He does his part, then waits for Brandy to do his part. That can take a bit, as Brandy has a number of games he does by himself, as well as ones he works with Adan on. But I went on and tagged him in this post so, if on the off chance he doesn't know, he might now know that it is updated.

AdanGC Mods hasn't been active in almost a month. Hopefully, that means they're working on an update to this and others... heavy is the head that wears the crown, I don't envy these modders at all (although I wish I had the knowledge to do what they do; I'm not even sure where to start). Since we're in limbo, does anyone know where I can get version 0.16b? Either that, or I guess I could just use the PDF walkthrough, but I prefer to play on my iPhone, so if I don't have to switch to something else I prefer not to.

Purely theoretically, this is what you can try. But make a backup of v0.16c FIRST!
It's all in the scripts folder on which the game is built and runs. AdanGC took these files from v0.16b for the mod, which means that by applying the mod to v0.16c your game will become 0.16b (or very close to it).
Of course, the fixes and corrections that are in v0.16c will no longer exist after such manipulations (the key files will be replaced by files from version 0.16b).
Be prepared for bugs in the game, theoretically there shouldn't be any, but I haven't checked and it all depends on how much the developer changed the game code between v0.16b and v0.16c (in theory the changes are purely cosmetic).
As for me, I'm waiting for v0.17 (final) and the new mod from AdanGC. Then I'll be able to enjoy all the content of versions 16-17 at once (but I'll have to wait a long time

And I will clarify that you will need to copy not only the scripts folder to v0.16c, but the entire mod. The ModOptions.rpy file is needed for the mod itself to work. In short, everything is as usual when you use a mod from AdanGC, only for version 0.16c
