Cant do 1/2 star so im just giving 3 star but if im being honest id give this more like 3.5 /5 stars

If it wasn't for any interesting setting and story I don't know if I would honestly like it. This game seems to get mentioned a lot so I thought it would of been better than it actually was.

Story : Honesty this is only reason to stay and enjoy this game in my honest opinion. Tho if im being honest I actually liked the female protagonist you get play as for one section of the game more than the actual MC. Hope we get more of that later.

If I'm being honest I thought the world setting was more enjoyable than alot of modern games even games with a similar setting like Fallout. While the setting and story was good there is a dry spell here and there where it starts to feel boring. Probably in part do to this game being a sandbox and having to pick which events to do and because of that you may end up doing alot of non essential events before progressing the story and can get boring for a time. The other reason well for me personally I feel like this game at times throws to many lewd scenes and events at you it gets tiring and boring. But once you progress the story it gets enjoyable.

Characters : They are good and boring at the same time. For about 1/2 the game I want to say I did not care for any of them and thought they were boring expect for one. Then you start to finally get events that isn't just lewd scenes but expands on character development here and there. While I wouldn't say they are anything amazing they are still pretty good and different than most AVN's that make them refreshing.

Animations and Renders : animations are pretty good most of time and some of the lewd ones can feel pretty natural. Then there is animations that are outsider of lewds and that is always refreshing to see. Renders arent anything special like the top tier games but they are pretty damn good at the same time.

Overall I say this game is good maybe slightly above average overall and a few of the negatives keeps me from calling this game amazing but just feel like it's overhyped. But in the area's is does well in it's amazing at. Now if you are player that likes lewds more than character progression then this game probably be amazing for you. As this game has something to offer everyone in terms of lewds.

Definitely some of the hottest characters/scenes. Game does a really good job with the various sex scenes and everything looks great. Some of the game sections aren't fully fleshed out yet but what is there (which is quite a lot) is well done. Highly recommended.

Cons:
Non for me.

Very boring game.

The story has an intersting setting but everything that happens is just boring or bad especially all the stuff with the elves , I don´t understand why there needed to be elves in this game just because elves are hot and a lot of porn games have them? That is the only explanation I can think off they don´t fit in this world at all.

The music is only average nothing special.

The characters are all very basic and look very bland I didn´t care about anyone except maybe fairy.

The dialogue is very cringe in a lot of times, especially when the MC tries to be dominant he just sounds so cringey.

The gameplay is awful the sandbox has no reason to exist the game is mostly linear anyway so why add a bad sandbox?

The sex scenes are awful and my biggest dissapointment the first have animations which aren´t even that good but then like the whole middle part of the game just has these frame animations which look always bad and I wouldn´t even call animations then towards the end more scenes with actual animations but they still don´t look good, but even if they don´t look good still better than most of the scenes with no animations they need to be fixed.

Excellent game. Great story, animations are done well, you really get to choose how you interact with the world, and some parts are definitely not for the faint of heart. Easy 5 stars, one of the best on this site.

This is my kind of game. Dark. Gritty. With some actual world-building, and believable dialogue. Oh, and there's tons of sex scenes too. It's really hard to have a good plot while still having tons of sex scenes, and Desert Stalker balances both better than any other adult game I've played.

I could sit here and analyze the graphics (Zetan's control of lighting is unrivaled), the sex scenes (well animated, pretty hot), the music (sets the mood very well), or 10 other factors. But I'm late for my next wank, so I'll just say this.

Desert Stalker is a vibe. A full on friggin post-apocalyptic mad max orgy pit vibe. With a few tender moments thrown in. I do have some minor nitpicks here and there, but what game is perfect. Taken as a whole,10/10.

came looking for copper and i found gold. The game is great, loved the story and gameplay. The characters are beautyfull and have distinct personalitys. Wish there was a way to make Ains boobs smaller but that is just a question of taste.

Review as of v0.13c. Lots of content and storyline is really decent with good music backup. The characters each have their own personality and very well written. I really like this ancient desert but still abondoned land with modern tech setting. Body proportions are quite hot and well done. And the renders are just amazing to look at ,better than most of the games I've seen on this site which are hard to find, What I really like about this game is that there's no consequence for cheating or sleeping with multiple women and jealousy, like I said mediaeval setting so it's common to share a man. I'm gonna wait for the game to get completed and then update my review. And I'm taking off one star cause the animation could be smoother But overall as of now i give it solid 4/5 stars.

One of the top 3 or 5 games in development. excellent craft, mixing the right amounts of action, story, and world building without being clunky or cringe.

Definitely one of the most interesting games going around. A sort of hybrid between Mad Max and Fallout (specially the former).
There's a rich world, great characters (both looking amazing and with [mostly] a cool development) and lots of inmersion.
I don't know how far do the choices matter, but it feels like it does. The universe has a lot of potential and hopefully it will keep expanding. The story has been fine and got me hooked; we'll see how much will it end up delivering on a final version.

B) Who should give a shit?
= you...you should. Are you looking for a game that has a fantastic plot, beautiful characters (I mean damnnnn so pleasing to eyes), banger music, and absolute best renders/actions scenes/ cutscenes and animations? Then look no further.

Disclaimer: I am an avid slow burn handholding sicko. I will rarely play games that have sex right from the get go. So I quit this game multiple times BUT.....that was my grave mistake. Yes, there's ton of lewds at start and it looks like just any game where your goal is just to plough anything that moves. However, once the plot start to pick up it GETS SO FUCKING GOOD. So...don't give up on the game but rather play it till plot picks up at least till Shani gets to the zone. Trust me it feels like watching a movie after a while cuz it's so immersive and good. It has the whole MAD MAX vibe and I abso-fucking-lutely enjoyed the whole thing accompanied by fitting music. You will forget you are playing a Ren' py game and think you are watching a movie or playing a AAA title. It's that good.

Pros: BANGER PLOT, absolute best renders in renpy game in terms of LI, environment, dresses, buildings etc, characters have their unique personalities and are beautiful, choices absolutely shape the game and your character, SANDBOX IS DONE PERFECTLY, writing is great, and MUSIC is chef's kiss ( ˘ ³˘)♥.

Cons: None, absolutely none. Yes during the first hour of gameplay the MC comes of way too much alpha than I like (kinda makes sense with the stalker lifestyle)....but as the game goes on his demeanor gets better with writing and the choices you make. So no complaints. (Maybe just maybe.... more LI appreciation dialogs like the one with Asha and more appreciation scenes..)

Verdict: Go play already! DONT GIVE UP EARLY CUZ IT PAYS OFF VERY WELL ONCE THE PLOT PICKS UP. Also, there's side quests that add more meaning to the characters and story so absolutely enjoyed it along with the main quests.

Just wow.. It has all. Beautiful female characters although main male lead himself looks weird but wont get to see much of him so all left to imagination. Story is engaging for this sorta game. One of the best games so far. deserves more praise.

quite unique. you are a badass with already a harem (wife, daughter, servants depending on choices)

it has sharing (avoidable) multiple times, it's insanely hot. due to many reasons, hot models unique world, alive/believable and somewhat unique characters. plus it's done a bit uniquely too, not like in any other game i played

english is perfect. no mistakes, perfectly understandable, not overly complicated, just enough text for every scenario.

lots of sex. kinda sandbox but the story is more linear. although you have many choices and all the time the dialogue feels a bit unique even if most choices dont have big consequences (but there are some that do) making you wanna try all possible choices all the time for the flavor of text

This is likely one of the best games here, in every aspect. Storywise, it has a promosing start, characters feel deep enough, interesting. About the gameplay it's a sandbox that doesn't include boring grinding (and I'm not totally against it, but certainly against some that artificially make it too much, but this one has not at all and feels nice), everything is done in a way that seems fluent and natural. About graphics they're awesome too, character design, scenarios... Sex is great, sometimes scenes feel a bit short but not a big deal, and at first it seems the amount of scenes (in number, though not duration) is too much, but that's probably to hook players, and soon you find yourself also reading long interesting dialogues or playing through frightening dark sequences, it becomes more balanced after a while.

It also has some interesting aspects: the game has very very graphic violence (but it allows you to easily avoid it if it is too much for you (haven't tried it but I assume it works properly). Same about NTR, it allows you to completely avoid it or to manage exactly when you want it or not (if for example you only want to avoid it for LI characters but don't mind at a certain moment about a random in the street, or you are fine with let's say share your daughter but your wife is off-limits, so you're not forced to be full no NTR or full NTR).

I just hope it keeps building on that, if it begins like this and gets better we could be talking about the greatest of all time, as long as you are interested in a dark and even scary game and you're ok mixing sex and violence at this level. In my opinion it's like the quality development of DIK, but doing it for a completely different kind of story.

Desert Stalker's world-building, story, and characters are 10 out of 10. The world is highly detailed, with most of the lore coming from great scenes and dialogues while rarely giving the player long-winded stories. All the characters have decisive personalities which seemly shows the player more about the world's culture and makes the flow of story plots very smooth. Since the world-building is so great, all the many sex scenes feel natural within the given context and help make the world feel alive. Even without the porn the story alone is a 10 out of 10.

I don't really leave views... and I really don't like futuristic settings inn general, be it game or movies... But this game work, the story is building to something. The side characters is actually interesting for the most part. and the graphic quality is up at the top compared to other games on this site.

This one was a pleasant surprise to me.

Pretty fascinating storyline, always liked dystopian settings with a bit of fantasy to it.

But man the renders are so beautiful. One of the very best among any game. It takes a while to develop, but it is totally worth it.

This game has so much potential.

Setting:
Typically in my reviews, there's never this category because there's never much to say. But in Desert Stalker, there's quite a bit to talk about.
You'll find yourself in a post-apocalyptic Egypt reminiscent of Mad-Max, with different factions acting in their own ways. There are dangerous raiders, many locations have lore descriptions that can be read in the protagonist's library. You'll witness acts of cannibalism, mutilations, dark places with mysterious presences - essentially, from time to time, you'll be reminded that you're living in a world abandoned by God. (In a couple of parts of the game, I experienced deep anxiety)
All of this is accompanied by thematically fitting music.

Plot:
You are a stalker, a skilled guy, and your abilities will be in demand by various factions in the game world.
There isn't a precise storyline yet; there are multiple paths to follow, but everything is still quite raw. Despite the game not being very short, there won't be events that drastically change the game world, but all the plots can be very interesting.
Choices in this game could make a difference, at least narratively, and that's something to appreciate compared to the usual Visual Novels where not even the next dialogue line is changed.
Oh, you'll also have the option to follow the story of the protagonist's daughter; I absolutely recommend doing it.
I enjoyed following the story; it's currently consistent, entertaining, and well-thought-out.

Characters:
There are various characters, not too many for now, but almost all of them are quite well-developed, and I'm not just saying that. With multiple characters, they engage in dialogues of a higher level than a simple "snu snu".
Aesthetically, they are all very well done, from older women to younger ones, all diversified enough so they don't look like copies of each other.
The only ones I didn't like were the mutants, but they were probably intentionally made to look more grotesque.
Perhaps the elven race characters have faces that are too similar, but even here, it might have been intentionally designed that way.

There isn't a real gameplay; there's a part where you have to make choices within a certain time frame, that's it.
It's not worth evaluating this aspect for now, but perhaps it will be developed further in the future.

Music:
Perfect, it complements the atmosphere very well, with well-chosen tracks even in the most thrilling moments.

Animations:
I saved this point for last. Unfortunately, here is where the game falls short. The rendering is generally good, but the animations are not mediocre; they are below average. Some are too static, and you can feel the stiffness of the bodies. Others are overly simple, where it seems like only the camera and the penis are moved, and in certain parts, they are just still images without any animation. There is a lack of different angles, and it would be beneficial to have the option to replay the scene before moving on. It's a real shame because the author doesn't seem like an average developer; He know what it is doing, creating a hot atmosphere and playing with foreplay and dialogues.

For evaluating animations, I usually use a simple scale (adding or decreasing the score based on other elements):

* - no animation, just photos.
** - sparse animations, repeated frames.
*** - default Koikatsu and Honey Select animations, mediocre.
**** - slightly better animations, where the bodies start to appear somewhat more lively.
***** - top-tier animations. (Very rare)

Unfortunately, here we are at the two-star level. I know that making animations with Daz 3D can be a pain in the ass, which is why I've started avoiding games made like this, but here, it's just a disappointment. A couple of scenes stand out and are salvageable.

Please, try to redo at least the repetitive scenes at home. Adding orgasms would be the icing on the cake.
