It's cool though, no more having to think for yourself. Just pop on a thread and someone will tell you what you like and how you feel about stuff. :) :ROFLMAO:
500+ pages, which takes longer to go through than playing the entire game (start to abandoned)

I was really impressed with the update, even in its current beta state. I loved the big battle, the new characters. I also enjoyed playing from the beginning for the first time in years, re-experiencing a lot of the game that has been updated since.

Are there some coding and grammar issues? Absolutely! That's the purpose of a beta...put out a playable version of the content, see what needs fine-tuning or fixing. Were any of the issues I encountered game-breaking? Nope. I changed one variable related to Ain to enable her night visits. I ran into a missing variable or two which didn't break anything and I was able to skip through.

I'm looking forward to the update in its completed form...and yes I will start again because I chose different routes/options than I normally do just for the beta to see different content (Queen's guard dilemma, The Hive, etc.).

Simple solution to so many people expressing concerns in the many posts above: Wait for the full release. Don't play a beta release if you don't want to deal with possible bugs or missing content. This update is really good. You will enjoy it...just wait for the polished release. Zetan has been consistently awesome about getting content out in a timely manner, in this same cadence of beta (17b) and then polished (17c) release.

Do we finally get some action with the queen in this update?

That's actually preselection in nature. Why make the hard process of thinking wether something is valuable? If most people like it, odds are it's good. Thinking wastes energy and processing power!
Not to deffend unthinkers, just saying it's a natural thing for things that don't matter

Having said that, it doesn't apply to this particular case. 1057 pages of a game thread adds to the value, not diminishes

The masses are wrong all the time. All the time. The most popular influencers in the world are dumb as brick, people with no real conversation at all, that say dangerously dumb things as soon as they have to speak their own thoughts.

For every well known game that is great, there are three barely known games that are incredible.

The answer of the masses is triggered by specific artifacts, slightly different depending on the type of media. If you understand those artifacts, you can manipulate the answer of the people with pretty barebone products. What's tricky is that some of those triggers change overtime, and it's hard to keep manipulating people over time, humans are crazy intelligent. We can be manipulated but we end up noticing.

Ubisoft is facing some problems related to all of that right now. To put an obvious example of almost every point.

I agree about the last part though.

new version is nice but it
lost ain sleepover and dungeon scenes
lirah and mantis could get a circular quest end as pregant at home , else they become secondary one hitter splits, don t see any reason to waste work power to continue each story split fot them

I wouldn't say it's a mess, having played through the entire thing myself. The missing events around Ain are the most serious bug I noticed. There are a surprising amount of typos - I counted a few dozen at least - in both old and new content. There were some more minor bugs that person listed and some others that are probably being tracked already because of how obvious they are, like the save menu not loading the correct images until you mouse over them.

The reworked events have introduced some discontinuities later that are probably being tracked. For example, once you take over the highway settlement and fuck Kyra, she'll mention that she hasn't let Asha fuck Zaton before. However, in the expanded events in Adira where you help Kyra regain control of her gang, there's at least one path where Zaton does fuck Asha next to Kyra, so Kyra's later concern for her sister no longer makes sense. Not sure if that's a flag bug or if the post-highway victory event hasn't been updated to account for the new sequence of events.

There's another event in the new content that isn't as bad but was pretty noticeable for me - Ivy goes through a combat sequence where she gets several severe bruises, but in her next appearance a few in-game hours later, she's completely healed up and none the worse for wear. I'm not sure if that's intended - maybe elves have a heretofore unmentioned healing factor - but it made me wonder why the dev would bother scratching her up if it didn't matter, especially considering that the other mutants mostly end up covered in blood but uninjured otherwise. Ivy gets the shit kicked out of her and seemingly shrugs it off.
Sounds rather bad to me. I'll just wait for a fixed version. I wouldn't want to restart everything yet again.

ALERT

The current version of the game is a TEST version. NOT everything is available and there are bugs. The completed version is due to be released on the 13th. If you want to avoid some frustration, I recommend WAITING a few days until the next release.

Yes, playing what is here IS nice, but there are some things missing/disabled as well as bugs. Because of the changes you MUST start from the beginning to avoid missing some new content.

Hope that helps.

Ha ha, unfortunately things only don't matter, until they do.
For the people that didn't think about them when they don't, it's a lot harder to adjust when they do.

Best advice is don't play Beta versions. Wait for full release. That way you won't encounter too many issues & inconsistencies.
