Bro, this is bullshit.

I literally JUST finished playing the game and now you are telling me I need to play it all over again because an update broke all my saves? Fuck this.
... It's Beta, might get fixed in full release ...

WTF, you only just finished playing the game? And the new update has been out since last week? So why did you still playing the old one this whole time?

If you "literally JUST" finished playing, then you clearly weren't paying attention to the weekly dev logs too. A smarter individual would have held off on starting a playthrough when the dev was repeating for months that the code was being reworked (psst.. that means saves are going to break)

Yeah, I like to do this weird thing where I actually enjoy a game I'm playing instead of reading weekly dev logs of a game I haven't finished yet. Crazy, right?

I don't see a problem with starting over.
More time to lock eyes with Igor, whilst thrusting deep and hard into one of the ladies.
I don't have ilimited time to play a AVN, so yeah, it bothers me a lot when I finish playing one and was waiting for a update, just to discover that this asshole dev designed a update that completely wipe all my progress...

So true bro, so now that you finished the game and you don't have the time to replay the new update and your saves got destroyed in the battle. I guess you should just quit the game altogether bro. It more productive that way. I'm rooting for your future endeavors bro.

I think any game creator knows that making changes to a game delivered in parts is often necessary as it is a work in progress and also understands that for many people it will be annoying.

You seem to be confused about the concept of games that are in development.
If you don't want to risk such an occurrence you have 2 very easy choices:
1) you wait to play a game until it is completed
2) before downloading it, you make the effort of checking if there are any issues or notifications about issues coming from the Dev team.

If you can't be arsed to do either of those things, you're the lazy asshole, and you don't get to pirate a game and come bitching about it without looking like one.
Grow up.

Sorry if it has been asked before, but how many days does Shani stay gone?

I'm playing the game again with version 0.17, opted out of seeing scenes from Shani's POV and, after she leaves, I can sleep or skip day after day and nothing happens (and there is no option to guide her or anything). I believe I've let 15 or 20 days go by and nohing happens (and I finished all quests I had access to before letting her go, except for letting Kyra go to start the raider stuff, because I want her to be part of the punishment, so there is nothing meaningful to do)...
name = "Shani's return from the Zone",
condition = 'm_d8a == True and m_d13a == False and m_d10b == True and (day >= shani_zone_departure_day + 5)',

5+ Day's
But m_d10b is the Raider settlement Mission. Which you have not done as you are keeping Kyra in the basement.

Work around for Ain's punishment.
"Shift O" to open console and type
ainroomintroduction = True

This will skip over Ain's Room Introduction (currently bugged) and fix most of Ain's missing scenes.

Alternatively you can wait a few more days for the update.

Is there anyway to use the saves from 0.16c or are they just useless now?
the way data are stored changed between engine versions, so no. theres reworked content and a couple new sex scenes anyway, just wait another 30-50 hours for the version that isn't fucked

Are you paying for this game?
If yes, complain about it to the Dev himself.
If not, you should know, you are playing a pirated Game for free in its BETA, then complain to yourself.

You know, you can activate to skip unseen Text (in Options) and then skip all the old Content within some minutes by pressing Tab?

You all are complaining as if those AVNs had Content for Days.
I was able to play the new Content after maybe 5 min of skipping.
In this time, you have logged in here, wrote your frustration down, read the reactions to it and responded to them too.
The hell you haven't ilimited time to play an AVN, if you are here, to complain about Issues on a Game thats actually WIP.

You could have seen the new content long before you have written this response, if you had used the time to skip the old Content instead of complaining here, that the World is so unfair to you.

God... let it rain brain...

lol. Do you think he did it for no reason? There might be technically difficulties requiring that. Hardly a thing to call someone "asshole" over.

Your comment would make sense if you were not talking in a thread about a game that is in a 0.17 version. I mean, wtf are you doing here? Stop losing your time with games that are in an early access period and go play complete games. It doesn't make any sense. If you really have so little time, you should play complete games. Early access games take much more time to finish, you'll be visiting this thread, finding new bugs all the time and every once in a while, you'll have to start over: That's what's like to play unfinished games.

Your situation is perfectly understandable, logical, it's ok. But here it doesn't make sense. Your expectations are off by a mile.
