0.14 just means it's update number 14. Nobody knows how many updates are planned.

I suppose that theoretically it could go on for ever and I wouldn't mind if it did either.

Same here. According to the log file there's an image missing (d14c-1x.jpg). A makeshift / "dirty" way to fix this is to just copy any other jpg to the image folder (...\DesertStalker-0.14c-pc\game\images\Days\Day14\SceneC) and rename it to "d14c-1x.jpg" so you can at least keep playing if you don't want to wait for a proper fix.

This is perhaps my favourite version of all. It has everything I ever wanted: pregnancy, throat bulge, anal, great "combos" in the commons room, extensive setting up of Queen Meredith for great days to come.

I feel the opposite, I am constantly wanting more of the girls we have. Villa harem time is *chef's kiss* and the raider girls are a highly addictive drug. Never can get enough of those two sisters. We also get a regular dose of new (or temporary) side girls that saunter on to the scene to get MC's rocks off. Added to all of the hot women are a great story and perfect AVN setting and I don't see myself ever getting bored with Desert Stalker.

I agree with this. I would add that especially with Shani we have barely scratched the surface so far. And that is also true for quite a few of the other girls, like the queen, the raider sisters, the mutants etc.

I've just retrieved the 0.14c version and I've found maybe a bug when clicking on decayed territory.

Here's the file trace back : a picture might be missing, causing game to crash after the following text

. I've looked into the path mentioned in the trace back but the picture doesn't exists.

Is the picture name not the right one in the script ?

I just finished 0.14 and Shani, Fairy and Katerina were greyed out in the living room the whole time. Did I play it wrong or are the greyed out options just signalling future content? Also seemed like I could never go to Ain's bedroom the whole game unless to end the night.
Regardless, amazing game, so good that it got me to post here. Can't wait for the next update.

I know that certain locations are either available or greyed out depending on what point you are at in story (not just 0.14 but overall). Room access comes and goes. The main reason being, there isn't anything new included for you to do in those locations in current episode. Even action in the repeatables locations can change depending on who is there and where you are in the timeline.

You should be able to get Emilie/Fairy scenes in the common room. I believe it might depend on how soon you "introduced" Kat and Fairy to the family. Please note, Fairy is only available in common room if you call Emile over to you first. Then choose to have Firecrotch join in. She is still in training so you cannot solo her yet in the common area. maybe next episode.

Ain's bedroom is only available for nighttime sleeping (right side of screen). There wasn't anything new to do in room during day (aside from some brief eavesdropping scenes you can do with her and Shani). I cannot remember if it was in Ain's room or Shani's room, but there wasn't anything lewd going on. Just a conversation about boys.

I know walkthrough mods are free stuff and I shouldn't complain about it, but still the walkthrough is always behind a version from the game, which invalidates the purpose of having a walkthrough. Maybe someone else need to pick it up.

It fails to find some image. Is that the one announced in changelogs that got chainged to include a train?

also found a slight error / mishappening in the emilia - fairy living room scene

(used universal renpy mod to make the variables and paths visible)



When Shani is not in the zone, so is home (lower path, that i am currently on there): she does not show up in the background
When Shani is in the zone, so definitely not at home (upper path that i am not on): she does show in the background

exactly opposite than it should be, guess the images or some code got confused and the result is now that the backgrounds are exactly switched reverse

Well, I just don't want people to get the wrong idea, especially any of the authors. So many people on this site just rudely express their negative criticisms in a drive-by, and I think that can get exhausting and frustrating for an author who works so hard on their game.

Yeah, maybe those things explain it; the "new car" factor is just slowly fading for me and I become more aware of some flaws. Hmm. At least they're fairly minor ones that can be pretty easily remedied.
