When we "lose" should not be game over (and load the save), just return to the last checkpoint or keep going...I know that the gallery is unlocked, but damn, is boring to load every single time.

these 2 are basically the same, given how saves work here.

you can also build NPC huts in the current post-game build area, where you can interact with cute goblin wife and the like to have your life drained out of you.
you then wake up into the build area post climax.

Honestly this is a good way to handle it. I really hate scenes being locked behind losing.

Quick PSA
Don't try to remap the controls with a controller you will fuck up the game and may be unable to open the options again (happened to me) the dev has infarct push a patch (v0.19) so you can click on the menus to fix this (in case that you got fucked like i am.)
but until an admi updates the tread don't do it
