It's been over 2 years since your first announcement. Don't you have a prototype or demo to show us yet?

The first post about this game was on august 2019. 5 years ago, and not even as much as a prototype or proof of concept. Although, technically I may be wrong, I think that it's fair to consider this game abandoned.
Or maybe just to be sure, cornxxx. If we may ask you a question, are you still continuing this game project? It's not like i want to try to make you hurry or hasten this project, i am just asking. Because if you are planning not to continue this project, i mean as far as no prototype or demo version that hasn't been released since 2019, people are starting to think that it's fair to say that this project is "abandoned". But just to be sure, if you could reply so that people in here could actually "not really put a big hope" anymore for this (idk how to describe it better since english is not my native language haha). It would be nice to have a reply, thanks and good luck with what you are focusing now. ^_^

The development stage of the game has been more or less abandoned, from a point of view we can say it's abandonned if this is time related. It's a time-consuming process, and my current studies allow me less and less time to work on it. I've explained this numerous times before. I engage in art and development when I have the time and inclination, but it naturally demands a significant investment of time. Over the years, I've experimented with various aspects, from creating sprites for RPG Maker to crafting extensive maps and even writing the entire storyline with the help of some people here with their idea. I've animated images and encountered numerous bugs along the way, some of which are challenging to fix, rendering the game unplayable. This has been quite discouraging.

At the beginning of this year, I experimented with learning Unreal Engine to see if it might offer a more efficient solution for my game. In less than a month, I created a sort of 3D demo without the 2D art style. You can find the link here if you'd like to test it: https://f95zone.to/threads/seeking-for-playtester-for-expirimental-game.187447/ ( it's a different story but that first 3D game was a test )

The purpose of this test was to assess how the third-person 3D environment would complement the existing 2D artwork and whether it would enhance the overall experience, and making it an actual fun game, the problem with rpg maker is that this is becoming very boring over time, and the gameplay would feel dead. However, regardless of the platform, the storyline is already written and fairly comprehensive, as is the artwork. In essence, this thread serves more as a secondary concept placeholder in case I ever manage to release a game.

Please understand that it's best not to expect a finished game from this thread. Instead, consider it more like a journal of progress. That's also why I've never asked for donations or created a Patreon page, as many others might have done.

If one day there's a new demo, I'll let you know here.

nevertheless I can understand the point of view of discontent to see the time pass and have nothing as a result, and be quite sad / upset about it

I visited the link of the other game that you mentioned. The screenshots look great! Is there a download link as well?

Same. I'll keep watching this thread for updates and, until then, good luck with your studies :)

...As an aside, you're making it REALLY hard not to make a joke about the average Patreon farmers XD

Hey everyone, it's been a while. I've been working on the project a bit more, although I can't give a definite date yet, I'm still working on it.

I can't decide whether to continue the game on RPG Maker or switch to Unreal Engine. On one hand, I've put so much work into RPG Maker with plugins, pixel art, and mapping. But on the other hand, using Unreal Engine would allow me to create a 3D game, which could be more fun in terms of gameplay and offer something different from the usual games we see, making it more original.

I've been thinking about setting up a Patreon system, but the more I think about it, the more I realize I might not meet the posting schedule. So, I've decided that if I finish the game (there will be a demo before that), I'll sell it for $5-10 as a one-time purchase based on the content, and provide updates on itch.io or Steam. I know it's not wise to mention this on a game cracking site, but I hope you understand. I also plan to use this system to pay for official translators in multiple languages, such as Japanese for sales on DLsite.

Anyway, one thing for sure is that the game is progressing slowly but steadily, and I'll use the drawings I've made regardless if this is RPGM or Unreal Engine. This time, I've focused more on humiliation/yuri events with bullies at school, including a humiliation scene filmed by a female classmate.

Otherwise
I'd like to hear your thoughts on what you find original or the hottest in a humiliation/exhibition game.
Also If you have any ideas, it would be cool to hear them so I can try to draw them and integrate them into the game if possible

Thanks again for the people who are still reading this thread even if I don't post much

It will be interesting. You can do it, and also keep up the good workk. For me, i will support it whatever engine u use, either RPGM or Unreal Engine. But ofcourse Unreal Engine / Unity / 3D games will be much more dynamic ~ ^^

Thanks for your feedback, also if you have some idea / situation that would fit the humiliation/enf/exhib theme, don't hesitate to tell your idea, I might add thoses situation to the game if the story is getting allong with it or maybe as a second ending

Personally, I'm a bigger fan of the unique pixel art you've showed off before. 3D stuff always looks so lifeless to me. Also, starting over completely like that feels like the worst kind of development hell projects I've heard of. It's always been better to finish a project you've got, because a new idea will always pop up that feels like 'I should've started with that!' but if you follow that impulse every time, nothing ever gets finished. Not tryin' to dig at you with that, but I've seen it happen to a lot of people, and it's happened to me a lot. It's always better to have a finished work you're not totally content with than several half finished things you start content with.

Sincerely, a dood with way too many half finished projects

But for real, I really liked what I've seen so far. It's worth gettin' the idea you started with out the door, even if you hack a lot of ideas off and save 'em for your also cool sounding 3D idea.
