Ren'Py - Abandoned - Deviant Discoveries [v0.50.0] [Jan The Spider]

Great story and beautiful renders. Would have hope for a less linear story but as I said before it still remains a good story. The corruption/TF theme is really well exploited. Few bugs here and there but mostly flawless on that point.

For fans of bimbofication there is quite a bit to like here. The renders are pretty hot and the writing isn't bad. The game feels a bit rough around the edges, with underused systems and some pointless grinding. One system that was used very well was your phone, which is pretty reactive with you getting texts from your girls about things you've done, often with some sexy renders. If the dev tightens up the systems a bit more and maybe tries to tie the game together with an overarching story I could see this being a 4/5 for me.

Fantastic. A great mix of women, control and domination, without a lot of fluff. Very well designed. There are a few points where you may not know exactly how to proceed, but there always seems to be a way forward.

probably one of the best body modification games i have to admit i didnt really like the mechanics back when it was coming out

but i re downloaded it and it has improved quite a bit

This game started out great but over time evolved as most games do. Unfortunately it evolved into a game in which you can physically transform the beautiful women into pierced tatooed women that I personally find unattractive. I enjoyed the game quite alot before this functionality was added to the game. For those into that type of thing, I'd say give this a go.

Really mixed feelings about this one.

Writing is good and voice is good, but there're several jarring continuity errors especially when interacting with Kara. There're multiple times the MC will muse about solving a problem before he's even been told that there IS a problem. The girls themselves have room to be characterized a bit more; classroom banter and interactions would help this AND set up group-romp funtimes. The serum thing feels like an artifact from Lab Rats that just isn't really used; think the blue and pink serums have one and two uses respectively, with the green being needed for the body mod for each girl. Makes the whole endeavor feel like a timesink-y red herring.

I felt the art for the girls starts great and declines with each transformation. I'm not a bimbofication fan so it's entirely possible I'm just on the fringe of the target audience. I'm here for the corruption and DS, both of which have really solid moments and a couple weaker "how'd we get here?" lapses in pacing. The fact that the author shows aftercare does get bonus points.

Personally I felt the breathplay and butt stuff was too prevalent. The post-serum Barbie proportioning isn't as appealing to me as the girls' starting appearances are.

If the corruption progression could be linked more to the girls' various loyalty / affection / sluttiness stats and less reliant on the domino-effect checkbox gated by serum injections, it might enable the player to customize their route and focus more on their own kinks. That'd boost the score a good star and a half for me.

TLDR: Definitely has its moments, worth watching.

great graphics, story, writing, etc. a little grinding but definitely worth it. if you like bimbo transformation fetish this is your game. same thing if you like bdsm. multiple characters (4 main plus 3 with somewhat less content) are all diverse.

One of the only games on F95 Zone to explore breast expansion, corruption, and other body modification themes at once. I really enjoy the serum part, as well as some girl sprites. There's still room for improvement (especially the black haired girl, who could use a better hair and clothes after the metamorphosis), but even now there's lots of fun to have. Can't wait for the update every month!

This game has not only nice graphic but also a good and relative quick build up in story and progress.

The content is pretty vast as the many girls evolve during the game grind and surprises pop up with new girls.

There is room for improvement and polishing, but not as much as one would think. The written english is above average, only a few minor mistakes here and there, only noticeable if reading carefully and being "nitpick" about it.

I would love to see what this developer could do with this game if he could afford voice actors and movie animations to the sex scenes

All good till final slutty big boobed monster girls appear... final version of them is revolting and not something I personally find attractive. Am I going for brothel building or harem? In my harem is no place for sluts but only attractive women horny for my and mine only dick.. this is not my dream

Story is non existent, however considering this is a slave/ trainer game i do not think it is necessary.
Art : above average 3D, nothing too special, the bimbofication is done quite well, models manage to look quite hot without essentially being doll like.
Scenes and fetishes : first there is a lot of them, second I've seen very few trainer games that have that many scenes with that many girls to choose from. Furthermore the scenes are done very well in comparison to other trainer games, the fetishes are nice too if you like bimbos and slaves.
Overall I'd say this is a great game, fetishes and content are the main reason i give it a 5 rating though.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs...

(Review Update - 28 May 2019 - v0.39.1)

Well, it's been over a year since I first tried this VN/Game, and in that time there has been some changes, but overall, not as much new content as you would expect for over a years worth of development time...

The visuals and theme have not changed... I did find it very annoying that I had to start from scratch, because old saves were not available... Which is why I only played this VN/Game in small amounts over a few weeks time, due to just how grindy this VN/Game is... The newer content really involves only a few things... A new character story arc with a heavy set goth woman... A few endings were added, one of which you don't even know is about to happen till it does... The other ending you can choose not to go through with, as it's a home based menu choice...

Also, the developers added in a smartphone texting feature for a majority of the main characters, as you go through their story lines, which was an interesting feature, story wise... This change is probably what makes up a majority of the content updates, and most likely the reason for the old saves not working... Was it really necessary? Not sure, as this VN/Games claim to fame is mostly just the porn fest grinding... The story aspects take a complete back seat and are shallow, barely even there, and almost pointless...

There were a few minor alterations to some of the characters content that I played before, which are really only noticeable if you've played content from earlier in it's development...

Overall, outside of one new fully developed characters story arc, the texting stuff, some short endings, and a very short main story line addition, I expected far more content for a year plus of development... Much of the text is just dialogue between the male protagonist and the specific characters involved in both the repeating events/scenarios and the new texting... It's still all about several forms of BDSM, involving various female characters, as the protagonist corrupts them and uses drugs to modify them physically and mentally... Not really a huge amount of change made between a year plus ago and now... And it sort of feels like this VN/Game has almost run it's course, and yet the version number suggests it isn't even half way done yet... I really don't see why the developers don't wrap this one up soon, as most of the current characters are pretty much at the same points in their story arcs... And any further content would just add more pointless repetition to what is already a repetitive porn fest grinder... The protagonist already has full mastery over all the current female characters... And the story bits are not that great anyway...

Will I revisit this one? I really don't see a point in it... I think I've seen all that this VN/Game really has to offer, and anything more would just feel like wasted time at this point... It's about average for being a BDSM porn fest grinder... I do wish the developers the best of luck...

This game is pretty much a Domination BDSM corruption progression porn fest...

The visuals of the characters are pretty good, as well as poses... The backdrops are fairly plain and normal looking... During erotic scenes in the protagonists home, they do not look as immersed into the backdrops as in other locations... I'm not a fan at how you view the different characters status', as it would have been less clunky to use a button or view all screen rather then looking at each individual characters 3 stats, one stat at a time, one character at a time... That part needs some work...

The script is pretty spot on, as I barely ran into any spelling/grammar errors... The plot (what little there really is) revolves around a male protagonist scientist/professor at a local university who has created several types of super-serums involving body modification and sexual behavior... He then plays out his roll as a professor, while tricking/manipulating/convincing other female characters into various scenes where he corrupts them sexually, as well as uses his drugs on them... The protagonist then works on various stats with each character to inflict his will on them sexually... So in essence this game becomes somewhat of a stat grind with 3 tiers of overall sexual progression with most of the characters...

There are a few moments when some tiny bits of story play out, like with the dean of the school, or the girl who eventually discovers the protagonists secret lab, who he blackmails... But they are very short lived, and mostly just lead to more erotic/sexual scenes... Several master slave type fetishes play out in this game, although nothing too extreme... And not all the characters are drugged either... He even runs into another dominate personality, who he then mentors... Each character has their own personalities and various focus fetish's...

Overall, there is really no story to this game that matters much at all, as it is your typical corruption/domination porn fest... Don't go into this game with any other expectations... There is some complexity to the system, that will just need to be played out as you get used to it's play dynamic... And since it is a grind based game, expect some repeating of scenes... Will I revisit it at some point? Maybe, but it will be a while as I wait for a lot more content to be added first...

Look, this is a simple porn game. A bit of mind control and body modification (bimbofication), corruption via chemicals.
It is simple story-wise, but well done.
Some of the models are really extreme, but others stay relatively normal at least so far.

If you like the stuff I mentioned, you'll definitely like this game.
It is insofar special, as it doesn't presume more depth than it has, but is good at what it is.

After a long consideration, I'm afraid I have to change my review.
I'll keep it on three stars, even though right now I'm so frustrated that I am tempted to go to two.
The problem is that ever since the coder was added to the team, he breaks the save games, with no option at all to get into the game again, without hours of grind.
There are several games that manage to update the code of already existing events without breaking saves, there are even games and some mod that will update your saves so they work with new versions
That'S why I can't help but wonder why this can't happen here or why you aren't at least provided save games.
Right now there aren't many different tranformation paths for the girls, so one or two could cover all contentn basically, that really doesn't seem as if it would be too difficult.

It also seems as if it's extremely funny to the coder whenever someone mentions the broken save games.
I don't expect any groveling or feeling sorry for it, but making jokes about it seems a bit like he's treating players as fools.

This might seem like the epitome of entitlement, but I'm not reviewing on the base of whether I pay for a game, but for whether I enjoy it or if it is good or not.
I like this game, I really do and I played it ever since the first version. This is the second time now that I have no drive whatsoever to play it again and that sucks balls, to be blunt.

The writing is good, but kept to minimum. As if the author's hard drive would be overfilled if he described a scene with a few words more, or if he was in a hurry. The game is grindy. If you are not aware of the original development design, you can grind for hours. To fix that author could put clear requirements on what is needed to gain a level of something. A lot of the menus are burried several levels deep which also increases the amount of clicking.

Basicly, when you're stuck at doing the same thing over and over again, you decide to try (again) the third menu, hoping that this time it will do something different. This is really annoying and boring. Checking the phone for messages requires 3 clicks, checking if you are able to call this time - another 3. That could be much more natural with an alert or icon.

The sex scenes are very good (not the level of DMD good, but still). The main thing is that they are quite kinky and far less ordinary from the usual vanilla or incest games out there. ALso the corruption is different for the different characters. There is some heavy BDSM elements like pet play and orgasm control, forced orgasms, etc.

A lot more "juice" (casual talks, events, side characters, different ways to make money) can be added and grinding decreased, but still this is a cool game.

This game is completely on the right track to becoming a giant in this sphere. The renders are magnificent as well as the content. While the story is a little lacking and the content a little repetitive initially, when the player begins to get high levels in all the girls this game truly shows why it’s so good. The variety of options and sex acts make this game amazing. What I will say though is that the usage of potions is underdeveloped and can definitely be implemented better into the plot.

-Spelling and grammar rules
-Weak opening story, no real context to who you are, just that you used super steroids...
- No context of who you know.
-Shows options that have no choices in it. Don't show something you can't do.
-I appreciate that everyone isn't white.
-College professors have tutoring hours, you would tell a failing women to come to that, but as is, asking the student to be tutored by you reads as fake and unimmersive.
-Seems like no character would talk as they would in real life. Both students so far don't read as human, they feel like aliens pretending to be human, but don't know how real humans act.
-Everyone's body seems exaggerated. Some women more than others. The most normal body is Chrystal, everyone else is thick, even Yuki which you would think would be thin... Sex shop worker looks ridiculous, so does the Dean. Note some will like how fake they look.
-After getting the women to agree to be trained, they still have the same conversation to train them when you talk to them again. They forget? Obviously this is lazy coding.
-Sex scenes have enough pictures that I am not bored. No animations but this is better than bad animations.

Overall I just don't enjoy this open world dating sim with a mind control theme.

Excellent Game! For those that are tired of BS. For those that wanna see some real well-done Art! That kinda of art that actually inspires you... Do not think twice before playing this awesome game. Give it a try right now! And I promise you'll love it! This is certainly another great game for your collection!

Personally I was a big fan of the game. The first thing that caught me by surprise was the amount of content. For being only 0.11 as I'm writing the content I thought was excellent and there were lots of hidden gems. The game could still do with a lot of work and I'm sure people would love a little more freedom to do what they would like to do, but for such an early release I'm extremely impressed. Straight on my watch list, hopefully we'll see a bit more character development in the next one and a bit more substance to the interactions. Also there is still huge oppurtunity to have some class interactions with girls and it would be great to see some Voyeur scenes in the near future, in my opinion a solid game keep up the good work.
