Yes and if you'd read any part of this thread you'd know that the way Skooma writes hasn't changed so why whinge? If you don't like the amount of content just put the thread on ignore and move on.

This is more of an ADHD fueled twitch project. The author gets hit by a period of overwhelming ADHD and must either create a new character or make 3 new dead ends.

It's 2024, two years since I've been here. Played the game for 4 minutes. Two passages has been added to the content I always look for progress on. That's maybe 6 years since I first played the game. Maybe by 2077 the game will be finished. Oh wait... it won't. If the # of Deadends are growing exponentially then... more likely dude leave this first. There's what? A couple thousand deadends in the game already?

For some context he had to split the Htmls because of Twine 1 issues with the amount of text in the game. So now when he updates he just uploads whichever htlms got changes. It's all essentially the same game/short story collection just with it split up based on content so that twine stops having issues for him.
Am I crazy or was there a male version of Devious World at some point? Raking my hair searching for it

Last month's, DW v93 in the OP, should have it. If it's not there, you should only have to search a few pages back from here to find where v92 was linked and that should definitely have it.Am I crazy or was there a male version of Devious World at some point? Raking my hair searching for it

As mentioned above on this page, Skooma only posts the files that have actually been updated/changed. So this month only DM got new content, nothing from DW.

They’re separate games with the same concept. World has regular protags, the other has more fantasy ones like a Japanese Fox Spirit.
It's not two different versions, it's two different groups of characters that had to be split into separate files due to engine limitations. World is normal player characters, and Mundanity is sci-fi/superhero player characters.

So yeah, June was... not great.
While I had a ton of great ideas and initially had some great momentum going on them, issues such as power outages and illness came up and slammed the brakes on more than a few. I recovered (fairly literally) in the last part of the month but still.
So to sum up in brief:
Jamie has a new key from the box he can use, a new dream in the journal, and can recognize the demon from the other journal dream as a new form.
Cyan has a new storyline that can be started from checking her email. (The html file is the same as the incremental since I didn't manage to add any more content after it.)
There's a new female character Mundanity-side, Marissa Mallone. (Her portions are heavily in need of typo fixes and whatnot, I think I might have written them while getting/still sick?)
And Michika now has options for taking out a loan to fix the intrusion ship on Karnol.

It's almost entirely bad end, and the stuff that isn't is usually pretty obvious.

Honestly love this game, but those fucking dead ends blue ball me, go through a nice plot line with dick in my hand and halfway it just dies. My fear is there are so many plot lines and not finished that even the writer will not know what to do as there is never a single start to finish update just increments with a future update adding another character viewpoint. This is as close to Apotheosis I will get again and I don't want it suffer the same fate as that one.

(Hey everyone's putting out their Halloween stuff already, I figured I can use this gif.)
But yes! Logically it would have made sense to do another incremental this week and do the public release on the second! But I need to leave town for a family thing for most of the week on Sunday, so I won't be able to write that week, so I figured I may as well do the public release now.
(I know the last few months have been kind of weird about releases, and I'm sorry about that. Stuff has just kept coming up and it hasn't been a good summer, and it's only 2/3 through. But, I persist.)
Anyway, had a few pretty good weeks and one eh one, but still overall I think there's some fun stuff this month!
World
- Mike has a new job he can take.
- Cyan can request she and her squad be posted to a station during Space Ranger training.
- New young adult characters Jessie and Cassandra have been added! I know it seems like I've been adding a lot of new characters lately, but I'm trying to fill out counterparts for characters that were missing them, and add character archetypes that were missing. (In this case, "fairly normal independent young people"... for some definition of normal.)
- Marissa can now choose to become a solo hero and be mentored by Style instead.

I usually just queue up some other porn to finish to in case I run out of reading material on a line. Really you should just view this as a collection of open ended short stories it'll never really be more wrapped up or finished than it is now.
Will the "devious digitizer" ever be updated? Why even include a link to it at this point when so little of the content is actually tagged anymore?
