Not bad, UI looks really fine. But some parts need to be edited (time management at least, lose an hour for just moving to other location..nah) and maybe add opportunity to know where is NPC now (a smartphone maybe, it will be a great help in the future for triggering many quests and earn relationship points).
Seems like at some point appears a bug with a park (there's no escape from there). And map at all (every travel lead to park location with no chances to leave).

Moving to other locations using the map is like taking a bus to somewhere in the city, in takes time. But each place on the map is like a separate hub with specific number of connected locations - moving within that hub does not take time at all.

Showing where the NPC's are will simplify everything too much, they are usually in more or less predictable places. But I'll consider this as an option later in the game development, when there will be a lot more characters and events.

Unfortunately couldn't reproduce the bug you were mentioning, there were other bugs though - already fixed and will be released with the next update, unless something really critical is found. Specifically for this kind of cases in the next update I'll also add an emergency button, so if the player is locked in some area as you described he could move to a safe location instantly.

Either the grind must be faster or better hints should be given. I feel like I've been talking to the roommates and landlord for weeks, but progression is almost non existent.

I'm ok with the no "simplify everything too much" part but right now the level of hint is at Dark Souls level, a little bit of instructions on what to do will be nice also beaucose not knowing if at least you are making progress or not is quite boring.

Do you want people to explore?

As the game stands now, exploring is not very attractive. There are a ton of locations, no way of knowing beforehand if there is anything meaningful to do in a location, and it takes an hour to check each. With locations changing over time and no information given, checking a location once only tells you if there is something happening there right now (unless the location is clearly not coded yet).

This leads to the reasonable choice being to just spend time at your apartment except for going to school. Going other places has an extremely high chance of just being wasted time, and until you discover a location where something meaningful actually happens, you have no knowledge of where you should go either.

I get the reasoning behind "you are taking a bus, so it takes time", but I do not think it improves the game, rather the opposite. With actions requiring time in addition, it is not like you can go all over and do a lot of things "for free" if you remove travel time. But you would be able to go around and find the locations where things actually happen without travel time causing the potential interactions to disappear before you get to them.

For example, if you notice that one of your roommates isn't home and want to see if there is anything to trigger with them somewhere else, you basicly have to save scum. Because if they are somewhere they will do something at 18:00 and the clock is now 17:00, and you have been given NO information about where they might be, you have ONE guess. And if you miss, you don't know whether you picked the wrong place, or whether there is no right place. This gets old very quickly, and leads to the apartment and the school being the only places that matters. And if you only want those two places to matter, just remove the rest.

If you want to keep the travel time, you"have to" give us a way to know where it is meaningful to travel at any given time.

I think a good middle ground would be to implement a smart phone, where you can ask only people you've met, where they are. This will help in trying to find/trigger events. I lost count how many times I'd save, and reload just to travel to a different location. To be able to investigate each location, during specific hours of the day trying to find out where people might be. It's either this, or grind a full week to get to the next weekend to maybe find an event you missed at a specific time, at a specific location because you end up losing 5+ hours a day just travelling to other locations if you don't know where to go.

Also, I don't know if this is end of content for now, or a bug; when the roommates friend Danny says he has something to show you on the computer in your roommates bedroom, the only option is to 'Leave' and the event doesn't proceed. I recommend maybe adding some indication of when end of content is reached for each NPC.

Good game, nice UI, some minor kinks;) to work out : pun : but overall I didn't encounter any game breaking bugs/crashes.(y)
Nice work

Basically the system of increasing relations works like this: you interact with characters on any occasion and gain points, when points reach certain bar, you will see that relation level has increased - progression then freezes until you find a special event that unlocks the next level or do some character quest. If it's event for unlocking it will play automatically in the right location at right time, if it's quest - you'll probably have to interact with someone and do something to finish quest and get back to increasing relations. I guess I can make gaining points easier in next update, and also I don't know whether this system should be explained somewhere, because it's pretty common.

I'm ok with the no "simplify everything too much" part but right now the level of hint is at Dark Souls level, a little bit of instructions on what to do will be nice also beaucose not knowing if at least you are making progress or not is quite boring.
I'll think after the second update it will be easier, because I'll just post what was added per character and what level of content is currently available in the changelog. And regarding v.0.01 - I can just tell that all the content that's somewhat worth exploring is with landlord, his son and the teacher, everyone else can be avoided for the time being.

As the game stands now, exploring is not very attractive. There are a ton of locations, no way of knowing beforehand if there is anything meaningful to do in a location, and it takes an hour to check each.
I get your reasoning, but I still think it has to take time. I have left a lot of locations on the map that are just an entrance point to future hub thinking that it will give an idea of the future scale I tend to reach, but I agree that exploring them is a waste of time at this point. I think the solution I offered higher will solve 'wasting time' problem, with the next update I'll just point out all things worth exploring per character and per location, so anyone could just check whether they got it or not.

I think a good middle ground would be to implement a smart phone, where you can ask only people you've met, where they are.

Also, I don't know if this is end of content for now, or a bug; when the roommates friend Danny says he has something to show you on the computer in your roommates bedroom, the only option is to 'Leave' and the event doesn't proceed.
I like the idea with asking people where they are, I'll think how to do it, but it's feature for v.0.03, because for the second one I already have the range of tasks in progress. For everything else I think clarification in the changelog what's added and where will be enough for now.

Regarding the bug, I actually remembered - it's as designed, you don't have high enough relationtionship level so you could agree. Though even if you reach it - it's just another interaction event , so not a big loss.

Thx, fixed the pagination not working and 'Sleep till morning', will be added with next update. Though I didn't get the part about 'peek at current relation descriptions', would appreciate a screenshot or more specific description.
Basically after I click on any image it doesn't show those statistics
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Also I just found out I'm not able to load a save. After loading it redirects me to an empty room and I can do nothing.

Well, can't reproduce it right now, maybe pagination fix did the job, thanks.

Also I just found out I'm not able to load a save. After loading it redirects me to an empty room and I can do nothing.
This looks bad, I tried different things and couldn't get it. Does this happen for any save file or some specific? Also does it matter where you load from, within the game options, or main menu?

I've mindlessly clicked around with 0% progression long enough, sorry.
Thats ok, I'll ease up the progress next time.

I have quick save and auto save, both not loading, but only from main menu. When I start a new game and load from a menu there, it surprisingly works.

Maybe the trick is to add a section where to find these special events. So far I'm just guessing and it's kinda frustrating, cause you don't know when you reached the point where the relations are capped.

Anyone know what to do when the guide says "Find out who was the student that assaulted your roommate?" and "find a match for your landlord" ?

Nope, you'll still have to find them on your own, but I think I can add one more thing to ease up things - I'll just highlight relations status when it has reached the cap, so you'll know you should look for the event. But again it's a feature for the third update.

Anyone know what to do when the guide says "Find out who was the student that assaulted your roommate?" and "find a match for your landlord" ?
That's the end of it for now with roommate, not a lot of content at the start.

To find a match - you'll have to increase relations for landlord until he says he's lonely and with the teacher at least two times, then the option to ask her will appear at school.

What areas does have actions in the game so far?
To finish most of the current content you'll be ok to just browse home, school and garage coop, all other hubs either have only entrance locations, or just minor events for main and side characters, as well as shops and jobs for earning money.

there are not enough events.

the map interface for moving around locations is not very convenient.
there are few goods in stores and pharmacies
at one point the heroine cannot remove dirt from her body, the solution for some reason is not shampoo, but napkins.
on the locations of the buildings that have been added, not all can be entered, as well as the events near them and in them, as well as the use of.

So, I can clearly see the inspiration from Girl Life. Great place to get inspiration, I just hope you don't go the route that makes the player manage way too much.
For starters, I was messing with the wardrobe and then when I went to school I couldn't get in because the clothes weren't right, but at no point I was notified of that, nor I could choose to change before going.
Second, cool UI, the language was NOT that bad, but the navigation sucks big time. Also, having small objectives to guide the player through the first week would be amazing, like showing where to get money, where to get items, where you start the relationship quest line for each character, a small introduction to a routine and then let the player explore around this, and then you can throw the random events around these. And the sheer amount of locations is a bit ridiculous, less is more in these kind of situations. The same is not true for the events, I couldn't find anything before I got bored of trying, I don't want nor need to rush to a orgy with everyone, but I do need something to stimulate myself to keep playing, after all, I opened it because I was in the mood/horny.
I hope you keep it up, management games are fun and yours have the right inspiration.
