this is a big mistake because:
1. it is very annoying.
2. it breaks immersion. I am playing the game, using my imagination and pretending to be in there. and then bam, I get a popup for patreon which completely breaks my immersion and ruins the fun.

The only character that's locked behind Patreon is Gwen.
