RPGM - Dilmur [v0.18c] [Shaso]

Absolutely fantastic game from start till where it is now! (v0.18c)
What i like:
-Intriguing plot and fun main story missions
-Meaningful characters with each one their unique traits and personality
-Reasonable corruption progress that's neither fast nor slow
-The main and side quests are connected and flow at a steady pace together
What i don't like:
-Frequent crashes
-Sex counter sometimes bugs out and gives wrong value
-Luka not being available as a first sex option, I love Luka and Noemi's cute relationship with them being childhood sweethearts, I wanted him to be Noemi's first time but for some reason the game doesn't allow this
What i hope to see:
-Better UI
-Better art style, As i progressed through the game it got better but it still feels a bit outdated. There's still room for improvement
-MC customization, different hairstyles, piercings, tattoos, pubic hair and more clothes options
-I know it's been hinted at during the dad's questline but i really wish we get pregnancy as a gameplay mechanic and not just some possible ending
General Thoughts:
-A fun and engaging experience, I started playing and i just couldn't stop and before i realized it, I had spent 15 hours on this! (not in one sitting of course lol) I can tell there's a lot of love and care being put into this, I highly recommend to all RPG fans out there
P.S: For the love of all that is sacred use Magpie to greatly enhance the resolution then pick Anime4K option, Just google it it's easy to find. Enjoy the game in HD, Thank me later.

Waaa this is the first time I ever wrote something in this site after lurking but my review is mostly brainrot about Agapiy.



Shasooooo Thank you for making such a hot character (Agapiy) I love him so much. Not alot of games makes dads, especially incest stuff handsome or likeable but he's GORGEOUS and such a nice loving father (in more ways). His route is kind of slow burn and i'm the type to want to get straight into action since I usually play sandbox nsfw rpg games but the way you teased his route got me on the edge of my seat. I'm not complaining even if it's slow burn because I love every single interaction with him. When I finished his route I wish I can see more dialogues for him but it's okay I can still see his pretty face. Noemi you're so lucky.


My only complaint is that theres no more Agapiy scenes for now jk. My complaint is that as much as I love Midea, I really dont want to progress her route just so I can hoe around in the brothel since I know there's no other way to access it without going through her route or even new Arcade stuff . Agapiy, I can technically progress all the contents of the game without seeing him, but I want to stay loyal to Agapiy and not Midea. I tried to avoid her route up until now but I really really want to hoe around in the brothel with Noemi while she still knows her dad is her beloved love of her life. I wish there's an alternate way to work in the brothel in the future~ and maybe that can be possible if Agapiy could visit the brothel and pay for Noemi or something lol!

Anyways thank you for this game! I finished the main story and Agapiy's route in 3 days. The playtime in game is 11 hours but I'll continue playing it to see more Agapiy sex scene heheheheh. If you consider having merch I want to make an altar of Agapiy raaaa. I love Agapiy so much.

In a word - DULL.
Super slow corruption. Very few sex scenes for a game that was released on 2017. Poor dialogue but lots of it. You can get away with a lot of dialogue if you have a great writer, but this dialogue is like watching a Zack Snyder movie, it just goes on and on and on and half of it is just boring.

I could go on and on but it's a dull boring title with very few sex scenes, she starts off as a virgin so slow corruption should work but it's done in such a boring way... it's just sad.

If you feel like playing this go into the replay gallery and unlock all the scenes, and count how may sex scenes you find. Then count out the ones that look interesting. I can count on 3 fingers the scenes that look interesting.

DULL

I wanted to like this game. I really did. It *contains* everything I want from a porn game. The ideas, premise, art, etc. are great. The problem is it's completely handicapped on a technical and design level.

I do not understand why this game was done in RPGM. It's low resolution, there's no autosaves, no saves during dialogue, you can't skip dialogue, no rollback, no cheats, clunky menus, and for me the graphics freeze about every 15-20 minutes. All of these would not be a problem if the game was done in something like Renpy. This game has no combat so there is no reason for it to be in RPGM instead of being a normal VN.

While this is somewhat my own fault, this is also just bad game design. I accidentally started a story mission without enough LST stat, and since my game constantly freezes and there's no autosaves I have to manually save all the time. So I saved after completing one section of the mission not realizing I was locked into the rest of the mission with no way out. I didn't have enough LST for the other parts either and from looking at the walkthrough means I just permanently missed out on 3 different scenes and 1 SPL LST point with no way to go back because again, no autosaves.

My only option would be to restart and redo 3 hours worth of gameplay. At least if it were Renpy I would be able to quickly skip dialogue and return to where I was and/or use a cheat mod to get stats back but because this is RPGM I would have to **actually** sit through everything again. Nevermind the fact because Renpy has autosaves I wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. I also wish the game would be more clear about how much LST you need BEFORE you start the mission and not during if you are going to lock me out of content. Which again in Renpy games, if the game doesn't show that there is almost always a walkthrough mod that does.

It's weird that these scenes are even gated behind the LST stat because it's only raised by spam buying game crates. Why not raise LST by picking LST related options and actually integrate it into the flow of the game? Right now with the current implementation the best way to play is to grind all 16 of the points as early as possible so you don't randomly get locked out of any content. Where's the progression in that? It's such a poorly thought out system.

It is all so frustrating. The game underneath all the bullshit is actually good but the execution completely kills it.

One of the best rpgm games i have played. i dont really add reviews a lot but i thought i needed on this, hopefully to give to the developer some more motivation hehe ! Good looking MC , not an idiot like most of games , good plot and really easy to keep track of quests and what to do next , not really an open map game but having some freedom to explore different quests . the only downside is its unfinished with slow updates . but so far so good excellent work.

Great story and art that really captivates you and let you loose many hours. Really like the guided tour around a different world with a well pased development for corruption. I would love to leave a 5 star rating because of all the time I spent here. Truely well made game.

How fucking good is this game, amazing story, really good mechanics, really good relationships, its not really a dating sim like the description suggests, which is good imo.
Very good corruption system, and very likable protagonist, I played the game for a full 12 hours unlocking everything, and the prison arc was by far the best one, and the mini games with arcade and individual side story lines are also very good.
The one very good thing is the protag doesnt turn into a mindless bimbo, at least not instantly, and it takes a long time for her to start getting more adventurous, The one thing i did not like: although I do not thing this warrants a lower score, it's just one aspect out of a 100 I did not like.
Also the art style is eamazing very hot but not over the top, but still extremely well executed.

One of the best games I've played.

I really wanted to like this game, but after about 8-10 hours I gave up. It does have good parts.
The story is without a doubt above average for a porn game. Some characters are genuinely interesting. The world is a pretty generic cyberpunk universe, but had depth. There are a few scenes that genuinely hot. The variety of fetishes you find in the game is large.
!!! BUT !!!
There is an extremely important aspect this game does awfully. The game part.
First, this is an RPGM game, so you would expect the exploration to have some imprtance, maybe even some kind of combat. Nope, the game doesn't have either.
Second, (and even more importantly) from a porn game it's a pretty reasonable not to cut you out from one kind of content if you are not into a certain other kind of content. So if you want to play a lesbian route, then not to put you through LOTS of handjob, blowjob scenes, and exhibition moments with men. Now, the creator of this game doesn't think like that. The game doesn't give you much freedom in forming the MC's personality or relationships, because she must be an exhibitionist bisexual whore, with slightly incestous tendencies otherwise there is content in all paths you won't be able to see. To stay with the lesbian route example: there are straight exhitionist scenes YOU MUST progress to progress this one. What's even more infuriating, there are straight scenes even ON the lesbian route you can't avoid.
Third, and partially connected to the previous point, there are LOTS of entirely unavoidable scenes. Until the point I played with it, that includes two rape scenes, unwanted grope scenes, etc. I cannot emphasize this enough, some of these happen automatically, others are a must to progress the main storyline. The game goes as far as making one of the rapists a secondary character that you need to keep interacting with to progress the main story.
Yes, I understand that the "bisexual exhibitionist whore who fucks everything that moves" is up to lots of people's alley, but if you want to railroad the story entirely, then make it a kinetic novel. When you use RPGM, people expect freedom in how they want to form their character.

And to tell the whole truth, the game has extremely lengthy, boring dialogues. Yes, some scenes work great, but some other scenes take half a minute to go through, even when you hold the skip button, and you DON'T lose anything with skipping them through. After a few sentences it always gets clear which kind of dialogue you met with.

All in all, unless you are into ALL of the tags you see on the list of this game, and you don't mind if a game makes 95% of the possible decisions for you, then absolutely try it. But if you want ANY actual freedom in a game, then just look for something else.

Amazing game with great writing , the plot and atmosphere are done super well for a porn game. Only thing I can critique is the thumbnail on the forum isn't all that appealing and actually put me off of playing the game for awhile. It's not all that important but many people could be like me and ignore this gem of a game cause of the thumbnail. Please keep doing what you're doing dev!

Gameplay:
Sci-Fi Adventure
This is quite an elaborate adventure where you follow a story. You also have side quests happening (stuff developing with some characters of the game).

Story:
I really like this lore (cyberpunk i think), and the way the MC gets implicated (and corrupted) in a complex story. But I was disappointed with the side stories (especially the relation with the father that is useless and uninteresting). The main story is genuinely intriguing and well told.

Graphics/Animation:
I really like the drawings. There is a huge effort made here. There is not so much animation, but it's not a problem.

Overall impression:
I'm giving it 5 stars just because I liked the atmosphere of this dystopian science-fiction world. But it's a bit confusing with the various side quests that seems to go nowhere. They are repetitive and seems only there to fill the game with porn, maybe to please the patreons.

Great, unique story and world building. Diverse paths (Loved the prison path.) Great characterization and the best art I have ever seen in a game like this. Seriously, Shaso... your art is so expressive, it's stunning.

There's so many things I can say that are both good and bad at the same time, but it would all come out as rambling so I'll keep it as short as I can.


Reading comments and reviews I had pretty high hopes, as I waited quite a while before trying this game out. Boy oh boy do I wish I had kept waiting indefinitely.

Like many people on this site I came here for the sexual content, no surprises, no sugar coating. But man, as good as the scenes and writing can be, I refuse to go any farther.
First, to play this, you HAVE to have a guide to realize how little freedom of choice there really is. It's so lengthy and padded with endless walking back and forth that even the devs added fast travel options to save at least 5-15 seconds of endless back and forth walking. Secondly, to get to have actual sexual content that goes beyond what amounts to foreplay you'll have to grind money by doing the same repetetive jobs or that pc job, then you need to increase LST level by doing the same thing as before but instead you spend 3k to buy games that increase it? Then sit through 5-6h of story to get to it... my mind has become numb from all the endless reading, if you weren't able to tell.
I am also aware I could've just gone to the gallery and watched the desired scenes from there, but that's not an approach I enjoy. Might as well look up porn at that point instead of playing games.

TLDR: THIS GAME IS A COMMITMENT. You like story, play. You want porn but don't want to spend 6h to get anything beyond blowjobs and vaginal eating prescriptions, skip prologue and just go to the gallery and watch the scenes, you can unlock em from the start.
You are like me and have many regrets in life, including spending so much time to get blueballed (because of lacking patience)? Ignore thread.

I found this quite boring to be honest. One of those games that should really have been a VN - the walking around and apparent freedom belies a linear progression and limited options.

There are so many small glitches and inconsistencies. E.g. going back in some menus can be done with escape, while other menus you need to select a 'quit dialog' type option. Sometimes quest prompts don't disappear, or appear when a quest action isn't available. The game economy is completely broken - you can make infinite money quite easily as soon as you finish the tutorial section.

The dialog is tedious and poorly translated to English.

Many actions aren't very obvious, and a walkthrough is a must. Quest descriptions are vague or maybe badly translated.

X-scenes are hot but few and far in between. There's also no gradual progression or corruption of the MC - you can basically farm corruption points very easily from the start, just like the economy.

I was excited about this game when I first saw it, but now I can't believe I put so many hours into giving it a go. Definitely one to avoid if you like good dialogue, player freedom and slow corruption.

Simple review for an interesting game in development that is soon to be complex!

The pros:
ALL the tags and genres you see on this post is true, and it is very hot!
There are specific routes and certain amount of points you can get for the hentai scenes. I suggest using the walkthrough to get them all unless you play blind for the thrill! (Good flowchart)
Each time the story progresses, it gets more crazy! You will never get bored reading and watching the contents as each of them leads to erotic scenes anyway!

The cons:
Honestly there isn't anything bad about the game besides bugs that you may encounter.

If this is your first time playing a sandbox RPG hentai game, nice.
If this isn't your first time playing a similar game like this, I must say that this is one of the best RPG sandbox out there.

This is an incredible rpgm game that completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I started playing, I was captivated by the games immersive world and engaging storyline. The characters are incredibly well developed, with unique personalities. I found myself genuinely invested in their stories and eagerly anticipating each new interaction.

The game's artwork is also top notch in my opinion.

It's a game that is slowly becoming one of my favorites and I'll definitely be coming back to check in on its development and I can't wait to see what the dev comes up with next.

The actual rating would be 4.5, but since it's impossible to set it (or I just didn't get how) I figured out that 5 would be the closest mark to the truth. The review is written under the impressions of 0.17b version.

The story in Dilmur is based. The script at all doesn't seem that original, but it ain't that trivial at the same time, which is pretty enough to keep you interested in what happens next. Setting à la cyberpunk and the environment at all are pretty canon.
All characters are well-written, some of them may disgust, some may attract, but almost none of them (from the main characters pool) left me indifferent. The MC has an original nature, it's interesting to watch and participate in her development. The corruption process is going really smooth, which makes you enjoy new scenes to the fullest.
Art here is interesting. First scenes gave me old, slightly undetailed CowboyBebop's wibes, but the newer CGs are, more detailed they seem. Even though some of them left feeling of incompleteness, after completing most of the event's in the game I can assure you that those won't ruin the moment when it needed. But mostly CGs are cool. Especially loved Calyx's, Arcade questlines and final Midea's missions .
Sound. Well, I love lo-fi, smooth jazzy samples, so author was hitting me in the right spot by choosing them for the background music.
Amount of content is really amazing comparing to other unfinished projects on f95. The plot and scenes are working hard to make you feel interested in reading almost every line, so this game is a good candidate to give you ten's of hours of good pastime.

So, every aspect that was mentioned upper is doing good job, why it's 4.5 then?
Well, the point is, the content of the latest updates is really raw. Some of the events are closely connected to other arc or questlines. To unlock new content you need to progress on them. But there is no mention or hint to it when you try to advance on these events. So, if you're eager to advance on these events specially, you'll have to spend some time figuring out what to do, or if it's not a bug or smth. The good thing is, developer is pretty fast to assist you here in f95 thread, so whatever happens you'll deal with it, but it will take your time.
To sum up, the game gave me good vibes and pastime after all hours of gameplay. It even triggered me to write a review. In my honest opinion it's a must play for every respectable f95zoner. Will look closely to what happens next to the project and good luck to the author in brightening Noemi's life with new experiences!

I rarely play rpg games because of the complexity of the gameplay (it takes a lot of time to move @@), but this game is an exception because the game's graphics are really great, I said in the rating of 1 game : if you are a talented artist - even if you render on a 1024-768 pixel machine - your game graphics will still look good, If you are a bad artist - even if you render on a 36k resolution machine - your game will still be ugly @@.
The author of the game is really a great artist.
The downside of the game is probably that the walkthrough is too sketchy and too lacking @@

Damn, this is the first h-game in which I try my best to save the main character from the h-scenes. Wonderful story. I got more emotions than from any AAA game in the last 5 years.
