Yep, AI. Hands are weird. Elbows and knees can get weird. But hey, there are several games with drawings done in MSPaint, or others appropriating screen grabs from porn. So it's a step up from that. The story matters more, as long as the art can stay out of deepest bits of the uncanny valley.

maybe it's part of the training data. there are plenty of models that can make similar style images if you use the right prompts and embeddings.

Damn if this is how AI draws then all human artist are going bankrupt... that's a sad and beautiful fact... The art is really great !!

AI isnt consistent.
backgrounds and poses will be all over the place in this game.
how do you zoom in on that ass and still have the same scene as before with AI? its fucking impossible.
change camera view and still have the same background? forget it.
you will have some random poses with some cool blurry backgrounds thats it.

change camera view and still have the same background? forget it.
you will have some random poses with some cool blurry backgrounds thats it.

there are ways to set poses with a control net. zoom could maybe be possible by upscaling the image to a ridiculous degree and then cutting out the part you need.
but consistent backgrounds will probably be a big nope.
